For those that aren't aware: 27.2 beta 3 did likely patch an SPTM Bypass.
The advice through everything has still been "stay and wait for stuff", and that hasn't changed in the slightest
However, as there's more "known" (for lack of a better term) about this (compared to the exact specifics of the Calif chain), I would say that - if you end up in a situation where you absolutely have to update - I would highly recommend avoiding anything past 27.0.1/27.2b2 (and probably 26.7.1 for AlternateSU)

Most likely won't be released but it's nice to see jailbreaks on such versions on modern devices.
Looks like Calif showcased an iOS 27.0.1 untethered jailbreak with root on iPhone 18 Pro at #hexacon

After many struggles, i have able to successfully update my iphone 8 from ios 14 to 15.7. I had to update it to ios 16.7, jailreak using palera1n, get activations files, futurerestore to 15.7 and restore activation tickets using SSHRD. Then install Trollstore and dopamine. 🥳

i tried to future restore my ip 8 to ios 15. for that i update to 16 to get the activation tickets. but sshrd is broken on ios 16 at mount_filesystems. so i tried the mentioned branch but that uses discord link which are not found. any got success with it?

For those on ios 15, is your whatsapp still usable? I know they will stop supporting it as from november but some users are already seeing the block screen making whatsapp unusable. 🤔 i am on 15.4 and have not got it.

There is an unc0ver update (8.1.0) that has just released - almost 5 years after 8.0.2 - with support for 12.5.6-12.5.8
While I personally recommend Amethyst(+TNSv2) over anything else for those, I still think this is a net positive overall.

My tweak Akino is now live on Havoc repo.
if you find any icon not looking good, make sure to report them from Akino settings > "report icon".
The tweak supports ios 15-17 (Dopamine/Palera1n). Relaxin/Roothide is not supported.

iPhone 18 pro starts at $1650 in my area.
And the 18 Pro max 2TB is $3025 🤯 and these are from the cheapest shop! How much is it in your country?
After a week with the iPhone 18 Pro MAX I actually think it might be a slight downgrade from the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
- FaceID is no longer as reliable
- it’s heavier for no reason, sure I can accept the extra weight if the bigger Vapor cooling Chamber actually did something noticeable
- meaning the 18 Pro Max gets just as hot if not hotter sometimes than its predecessor
- battery is about the same in my experience nothing noticeable
- cameras as same. Except the new photographic styles is a nice to have
- smaller Dynamic Island is just pointless, sure having three live activities up there is nice but I don’t ever find myself in a position to need three
- more expensive by a $100
- modem actually seems to be weaker in remote areas where my wife’s s26 ultra does fine!! ( we are on the same plan)
- a20 pro is nice but use case do I have for
All that power , 2 nano meter chip is supposed to be more power efficient but I don’t notice it

BREAKING: OpenAI has notified "dozens" of organizations, including governments and universities, whose websites were hampered by visits from its AI models.
The company says its AI models "acted in ways that went beyond their assigned tasks or intended methods."
The announcement comes as several of the largest AI companies are calling for increased AI safety.
OpenAI says they will continue to investigate these incidents.

Akino is still going through testing but it is almost done. It will be available publicly before end of next week. If you find a broken icon or unprocessed one, you can report it via tweak settings and i will manually fix it. The tweak will cost $4 once released on havoc repo.
My tweak Akino is almost ready. It provides ios dark/clear/tinted icons (settings icons/widgets too).
I'll soon need testers. if you are on jailbroken on ios 15-17 (dopamine/palera1n) and want to test, comment with your ios version/phone model and make sure your DM are open.

wtf? Apple now says that the texture and grain will NOT be coming to older iPhones
there’s no reason why this shouldn’t be coming to older iPhones
this is what i despise about Apple. new software camera features almost never make it to older iPhones, even though those are completely capable.
