Iowa
Surprising loud at jNW when Iowa is on defense.

One of the funnier things coming out of the election is the really radical New Left feeling their oats and trying to dictate to the legacy Left. If @SenSchumer and @RepJeffries lose this fight, the Democrats will be fully DSA by no later than 2032 and the US is done as a country within a generation or two. If they win, it’ll be open warfare inside of the Democrat party until/unless the legacy Left can get rid of them. Either way, I’m here for it and hope it’s a long and bloody and public fight. Because schadenfreude is delicious.

Well, that sucked. I did not expect Hinson to lose, especially not by that margin. At least the Constitutional amendment passed and India May lost.

"Don't you want a sticker," asked the kindly older lady at my polling station today. "No, ma'am, I don't." I'm not 6. I don't need a sticker as a reward for doing the things I'm supposed to do.

Love how @dpakman will reject a study on progressive propensity for political violence while on @triggerpod because he hasn’t personally seen it, but is totally willing to use personally observed anecdotes to make the assertion that most violence is from the right. Because he ignores places like Portland, as an example. I guess consistency is a hobgoblin for him.

I just want to say that @alisa_childers podcast from this past weekend had one of the best thoughts on Christian nationalism I’ve heard in a long time from Dr Clark Bates: “This is why this idea of Christian nationalism will never, ever work. Jesus was very clear that his kingdom is not of this world. And every single time the church links its arms with the state, it ends up in blood and disaster and destruction, and it's usually Christians that get killed.”

With as many turnovers and buffooneries as Iowa had in that game, Minnesota should have won more.

Floyd of Rosedale wasn't created to "spice up" the Iowa-Minnesota rivalry, he was literally created to unspice down a game that threatened to descend into a riot
What began as a wager between neighboring governors has become a decades-long rivalry 🏆 No. 15 @HawkeyeFootball battles @GopherFootball for the Floyd of Rosedale tomorrow 🐖

The @owenjonesjourno episode of @triggerpod proves that some people should have electrodes attached to their nipples when they discuss so the hosts can keep them from interrupting and using demagoguery. It’s clear @owenjonesjourno has never suffered physical consequences for any of the bullshit positions he has or attitudes he exudes since becoming an adult. He is not a serious person.

I wasn’t sure #Indiana wanted to win that game, honestly.

Does El-Sayed ever talk about Michigan? Everything I see is Israel, Palestine, Israel, Palestine, Bill Maher (who is Jewish), Palestine. And so much national media, not Michigan outlets.
"The great displacement of people told they were going to be able to come home, in a couple of days, never ever be able to go back" Abdul El-Sayed is right that Palestinians were told they would be able to come home after the war launched by 7 Arab states on Israel immediately after the Jewish state was founded. Why does he leave out who told them that? The same Arab countries that set out to rid the Middle East of Jewish sovreignty confidently informed Palestinians that they would return to their homes after victory was secured. The decendants of Palestinians who stayed or came back are Arab Israelis today. They make up 20% of Israel's population. Many chose never to come back. Some truly couldn't. But the initial call to leave, and the war that created the chaos in which both Arab and Jewish communities were destroyed, was initiated by Arab countries. I'm glad Abdul El-Sayed brought up this point. It truly illustrates how much you have to selectively revise history to reach his conclusions. x.com/clashreport/status/210…

Imagine having so little self-awareness that a Michigan fan thinks this is an own of some kind. #WesternMichiganWon
Replying to @HawkguyMatt

A compilation of the Islamic Republic mass executing their own people. It would be a shame if this went viral.
