This is extremely concerning. "The second part of the guidelines prohibits individuals from moving their cryptocurrencies out of regulated wallets and into non-custodial or self-custodial wallets. These include hardware wallets such as Ledger and Trezor, and software wallets such as Trust Wallet and MetaMask." Those in free societies should think very carefully before imitating the actions of a repressive and anti-democratic state. And those of us in the Bitcoin industry, especially those of us with a foot in the policy door, need to do all we can to make sure that our governments don't make the same mistake. coinpedia.org/news/russia-ba…

Yeah but what do you expect, that government is run like the mafia. They need the money for the war but you probably won't see Putin selling off parts of his palace to pay for it

My question is... Do they understand the term "permission-less"?

I think not, but this will likely be implemented by exchanges blocking transfers off platform. An alert to take custody of your assets ASAP if I ever saw one

It would take a brave bank/ finance institution to become borderless, multi currency to allow fiat/bitcoin exchange worldwide. Not sure it’s possible.
