We have now received the first report of a critically ill calf due to Bovaer poison this year A 7-day-old calf that received Bovaer milk for 3 days has now been euthanized. It had sunken eyes because it would not drink the Bovaer milk, it had difficulty breathing, it was lifeless, it could not stand up, and if it finally got up, it moved as if it were drunk. We recently wrote about previous stag kills along the same stretch of the River Barle (link in comments below) - and now it has happened again. These animals are chased to exhaustion - often over hours - before being killed, with parts of the dead stag taken as trophies. Pursuing an exhausted animal to death, with horse, dogs, quads, and frothy-mouthed supporters is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 either. Hunt Saboteurs will continue to be out on the ground, monitoring, documenting, intervening and exposing the cruetly of stag hunting week after week.
