…and that is a direct result of the US pursuing a stupid f*cking war in the Mideast 23 years ago. Yet somehow, a quorum of Washington policymakers thinks a SECOND stupid f*cking war in the Mideast would be a smart way to compete with China. What’s the definition of insanity?🤦‍♂️
China ia the greatest economic and strategic threat facing the United States in the twenty-first century.🇺🇸

This is just the beginning Eurodollarization is back
It’s surprising how many people overlooked the most important thing @DavidSacks said yesterday about stablecoins: “Stablecoin demand could lower long-term interest rates.” That’s the real takeaway. Fiscal dominance is unstoppable and stablecoins will be America’s new UST.

I'm excited to join @DragonflyVC on the investment team For years crypto has been the driving force in my life I've become a clearer thinker, because permisionless capital aggregates around the best ideas and what drives attention I've met countless new people both online and off, some of whom I'm lucky to call my closest friends Crypto represents the most pure, reflexive form of capital markets, and I strongly believe the most transformational companies, products and protocols will follow Working with @HadickM @hosseeb @tomhschmidt @KawageboF47481 @0xsudogm @0xelton and the rest of the Dragonfly team is an honor, one which I am very grateful for

So @coinbase just quietly became a challenger to every broker-dealer on Wall Street, and nobody is modeling the revenue. 1. Eligible US retail can now request IPO allocations inside the @coinbase app: starting with Oura, 50M shares at $40-44, up to a $2.2B raise. 2. Stack it up: crypto spot, prediction markets at $100M+ annualized (+106% QoQ), single-stock perps filed for US retail, and now IPOs. This is the Everything Exchange they keep talking about, being built in public. 3. Clear Street raised to $224 on this. Coinbase Capital Markets is now competing directly with bulge brackets for the retail allocation. What I’m interested is the B20 and Nasdaq IPO dual listing on @base. Is @coinbase gonna tokenized Oura on day 1?

In July I wrote that most published agent cards are not actually A2A. At the time that meant 65 providers out of 22,341 hosts, ten of them conformant, and I called it a starting line rather than an adoption story. apievangelist.com/2026/09/21…

Jacob is one of the few people who actually ships beautiful onchain products. Good hire. DeFi Polymarket needed this.
Calling all crypto twitter. I'm proud to announce that Jacob Horne @js_horne has joined Polymarket. He will be working closely with me on product, in particular making Polymarket DeFi great again. Jacob is amongst the best product and innovation minds in crypto. Before this, he was CEO of Zora. He built multiple beautiful products (I was one of the first users of the first version in 2020). Now he's got the PMF and distribution of Polymarket. I'm so excited to work with him. We'll be hosting a Polymarket DeFi town hall soon to hear from our longtime users and lay out the plan to make the Polymarket DeFi product the best it’s ever been. In the meantime, DM your feedback to @js_horne or me and we'll action it. To the DeFi community, we know the performance of the onchain product has waned as we've scaled, and it hurts us to hear the frustration of the people who love Polymarket and have supported us for so long thinking we’ve pivoted all focus to US, but just know we're working behind the scenes to unify the products and make Polymarket better than ever, across all surface areas.

Most comprehensive review of x402 eco I've seen yet!
1/ If your x402 thesis assumes crypto-only payments, mandatory facilitators, or guaranteed delivery after settlement, it needs updating. All About x402 is out: the mechanics, extensions, adoption paths, and businesses behind agent payments

Hyperscaler CDS widening isn't dealer hedging... otherwise, bank spreads would be moving too 📉. Instead, the market is repricing deteriorating credit fundamentals: debt-financed AI capex, rising leverage, and negative FCF with uncertain ROI 🤖💸. Torsten at Apollo

Been using LLMs the entire year, but yesterday was the first time I sent them out bug-hunting proper in my codebase. Well... we're fucked. They traced a way to brick an Ark, going from the mobile app, through the cloud, laptop it's plugged into, firmware, USB stack, kernel.

That said, the fact the LLM saw this line: format!("{} \u{00b7} v{} \u{00b7} {}", carrier, revision, name) And managed to escalate it across the stack into a full on denial of service exploit blew my mind.

New x402 guide from the cracked team @Alchemy
x402 has processed $41M in volume. As agents make more payments, products need to receive them as a key customer. We released the complete guide on how to do that, with real code examples. 👇

Translation: our gross margins are getting competed down to 0 by open source models and our capex burn rate is too high. Let’s maintain our margins with regulatory capture, ban open source models, and slow down the capex arms race. All with a virtue signaling cherry on top.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. Our goal is to make Coinbase the best place to trade everything, agentically. This includes enabling agents to economically reason about tools related to financial data on demand. Let's leverage x402 to democratize access to research, intelligence, and execution capabilities traditionally reserved for institutions, and put it in the hands of everyone.

It's official: MetaMask will never airdrop. Time to pack it up.
Today, MetaMask begins its next chapter as an independent company. Consensys Software Inc., the company behind MetaMask, is rebranding as MetaMask, fully focused on the consumer platform. The protocols and institutional infrastructure businesses, including Linea, are becoming a newly formed company that will carry the Consensys name forward. 🧵
