From asteroid Bennu to Earth, the spacecraft traveled billions of miles, collected a historic sample and helped unlock new clues about the origins of our solar system.

MRO was the first time an Atlas V (401 configuration) was used for an interplanetary launch. It was also pre-ULA so built and launch by Lockheed Martin, the same company that built the MRO spacecraft.

The Artemis II crew walked on stage yesterday at Red Rocks Amphitheatre to a crowd of 8,500+ people cheering them on like the rock stars they are. So happy they got to experience this and the Denver community got to see and hear them in person.
