As you mature, you begin to realise that not everything you lose is a loss. Sometimes, it’s a redirection toward something better suited for you. Sometimes, it’s protection from something you couldn’t see clearly at the time. And sometimes, it’s a realisation that teaches you something you needed to learn. You start looking back at the people who left, the opportunities that didn’t work out and the plans that fell apart with a different kind of understanding. What once broke your heart might have saved you from something that wasn’t meant for you. Not every ending needs to be understood immediately. Some things only make sense when you’ve had enough time and distance to see them differently. Life doesn’t take something away from you to punish you. Sometimes, it makes room for you to grow, protects you from what you can’t see or teaches you what you couldn’t learn any other way.
