Dont let your ego keep you unemployed, even if it means taking a "lower" job. Also increase your tech hobbies.
Most folks I know who didnt recover from the 00s crash had long periods w/o work (big resume gap) & skills atrophied making it even harder to get work.

It really isn't fixable. The theory is that PVC based plastic wrap attracts & binds TCA (the chemical that causes it), but it's not like it actually pulls it from the wine. You'd have better luck making a PVC pipe wine luge. Also, most plastic wrap isn't made with PVC anymore.

It's gotten a bit murkier bcuz it depends on whether they're using the account as a private citizen (i.e. for re/election, can block) or as a govt official (cant block). Best guess is they'd argue @jaredhuffman is personal & @RepHuffman is govt.

Herdwick Macon Ham (Cumbria)
Cure leg of mutton in a mix of sugar, salt, bay leaves, pepercorns & juniper berries for 3 weeks. Cold smoke over oak & juniper. Mature for 8 months.
Dock Pudding (South Yorkshire)
Local veg (bistort, nettles, lady's mantle, raspberry leaves, dandelion, etc) + chopped onion, simmer in seasoned water for 20min. Add oatmeal, cook for another 20min. Strain & pack in a tin/loaf pan to cool. When cool, slice & fry in bacon fat.
