We have arrived in Baton Rouge. A little later than expected because we had a small car crash on the way. Nothing serious though, everyone is fine. We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Chunks, our big sweet boy. When we first found him, he was hiding under a house in so much pain. He had been struggling, but from the moment he came into our care, we did everything we could to make him comfortable and give him the love and care he so clearly deserved. Although saying goodbye is incredibly hard, we take comfort in knowing that Chunks wasn’t scared or hiding when his time came.
