One of the reasons why you should be at the Federal High Court, Abuja, tomorrow for our case against telecommunications companies in Nigeria. Last night, I bought 20GB of @MTNNG weekly mobile data for N5,000. I woke up this morning, and it was gone. There were no software or app updates enabled to use mobile data. I bought another 20GB weekly data plan, and in less than an hour, I was told I had no data left. Did I upload anything heavy anywhere? Nope. Was I on my phone throughout that one hour? Nope. I was busy preparing for work and driving around Abuja for different meetings. I decided to buy 3.5GB for one day to see what was happening. In less than 20 minutes, I was told that my data had been exhausted. I bought another 20GB, and the purchase was confirmed as successful. But when I tried using it, I was told I had no active data subscription. I waited in vain for the data I had already paid for. I bought another 20GB at exactly 5:36 PM. By 5:44 PM, I was told I had no data left again. Just 8 minutes later! Please look at the screenshot and see for yourself. Now, I decided to buy a 75GB monthly plan for N18,000. As I’m making this post, I have already been told that I have only 61GB left. That’s about 20 minutes after purchasing the data. And mind you, I had turned off mobile data for almost all the apps on my phone this morning while trying to figure out what exactly was happening. This is the kind of experience that makes me believe MTN has been actively defrauding Nigerians. You are seeing this because I have a large audience. But what about the millions of Nigerians who do not have such an audience? How many people experience this every day without having the means to challenge it? I will challenge all of this in court, and the case begins tomorrow. If you are a journalist or media professional, please join us at the Federal High Court, Abuja, tomorrow at 8 AM. I’m personally tired of the institutional fraud going on in this country. -KAA #kaa_truths

The arrest of this young man by the DSS simply for mobilizing support for Peter Obi is shameful. Peaceful political campaigning is not a crime. Carrying an NDC flag and urging people to support a candidate ahead of 2027 is a constitutional right, not a security threat. When the DSS is deployed against young Nigerians for supporting Peter Obi instead of focusing on real threats like banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism, it sends a clear message: the state is more interested in silencing political opposition than protecting citizens. This is intimidation, not law enforcement. Democracy dies when supporting a candidate becomes grounds for arrest. Release him immediately. Nigerians will not be cowed.

CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW. The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable. President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence. Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion. We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK. I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice. We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights. A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO

Hello @officialEFCC , our youth leader bought 7 Prado jeeps for him. In short, the total cost around one billion naira. Can you please invite him to explain the source of his wealth? If you cannot invite him, then, your fight against corruption is selective. Thanks.

ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020 Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country. On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life. We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice. As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights. Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated. A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO

We have NBM. We have The Buccaneers. We have the Norsemen/SVC. We have the SEC. We have the Maph, KK, 22, etc. The motto of - NBM: Social Justice and Equality (Fight against oppression). SVC: Service to Humanity. SEC: Correction from wrong to right (NF/NF). MAPH: Justice and Protection. Etc....... These associations have ground men who are ready to open the gate of hell at any time of day. If you visit NAIJA CONFRA’S PAGE, you will see that they open that gate of hell every day... But not to our evil politicians and their children. Not to terrorists and bandits. They open it for each other and to each other. Now, go back and read the mottos again. History has shown that organised brotherhoods do not have to exist only for themselves. In Italy, the Carbonari fraternity challenged absolute rule and pushed for constitutional government. In Germany, the Burschenschaften, which were actual student fraternities, became associated with demands for liberty, national reform and constitutional government, to the point that the political establishment tried to suppress them. There have been fraternities and brotherhoods whose members looked beyond internal rivalry and directed their organisation towards confronting the political conditions affecting ordinary people. So what exactly prevents the Nigerian versions from using their networks, numbers, influence, and discipline for building each other rather than fighting one another? With the sophisticated network these associations have, if they focus even 5% of their energy, organisation and ruggedness on helping the country regain sanity and putting serious civic pressure on the corridors of political power, they would actually be practising what their mottos preach. But instead, some of them have become tools in the hands of the same political class they should be questioning. Some of the politicians, governors, ministers and senators we complain about are themselves not strangers to these systems. Some are old metals, old ships, old birds in the game. Social Justice and Equality. Yet injustice surrounds us. Service to Humanity. Yet Nigerians are being killed and tormented by their politicians. Correction from Wrong to Right. Yet the wrong people continue to rule without serious resistance from these supposedly powerful networks. Justice and Protection. Yet ordinary people keep asking: justice for who, and protection from what? You all need to go back to the drawing board if you have any... Because if your brotherhood claims to stand for justice, humanity, equality, and correction of wrong, then the biggest test of that creed should not be another confraternity. It should be the condition of the society you live in. I remember one confraternity clash I witnessed back then in DELSU. It started over something almost ridiculous. Mr A looked at Mr B in a way Mr B didn’t like. Mr B confronted him and told him that if he wasn’t careful, he would “die like a chicken.” That one statement became the spark. Before long, it turned into a full-blown bloody clash that spread from DELSU down to Asaba. I was at Naira & Kobo that night, having pepper soup with my lodge mates, and Mr B was also at Naira & Kobo. Mr A arrived with his squad. And just like that, the gate of hell opened. You know why I referenced that experience? Because it showed me that men who can mobilise that quickly, & organise that fiercely with that level of intensity clearly have enormous collective power. The tragedy is where that power is often directed. Imagine if a fraction of that same coordination, courage and brotherhood were redirected toward resisting injustice and demanding accountability from leaders. That is the contradiction I am talking about. Your motto says justice. Your motto says humanity. Your motto says correction. Your motto says protection. So why is so much of the fire reserved for one another? 100% of NIGERIA’s problem? It is a people problem. OUR IDEOLOGY.

Scaring Investors While Celebrating Macroeconomic Stability! As the APC-led government continue in their delusional celebration of Nigeria's macroeconomic stability, the warning from the United States Government to prospective investors on inherent risks in Nigeria, further affirms the general and correct assessment that President Bola Tinubu-led government is incompetent, ineffective and corrupt. In the 2026 Nigeria Investment Climate Statement, the U.S. Department of State clearly flagged corruption, insecurity, inconsistent regulatory enforcement and weaknesses in the judicial system, cargo delays and power sector challenges as key factors undermining investor confidence in Nigeria. The report went further to caution investors of the possible use of arbitrary detention, travel restriction and immigration enforcement to coerce foreign businesses in Nigeria. As the report unambiguosly stated: “U.S. businesses are advised that standard business trips can escalate into detention if the firm is under regulatory suspicion or faces charges by Nigerian authorities. Nigeria has previously employed coercive exit bans and arbitrary detention as leverage in commercial or regulatory disputes, and to extract data or financial concessions from multinational firms. Port inefficiency remains a significant “hidden tax” on investment. While the Lekki Deep Seaport, which opened in 2023, significantly eased pressure in 2025 — handling $9.6 billion in trade and operating at 50 percent capacity — traditional ports in Apapa and Tin Can still suffer from cargo dwell times exceeding 20 days due to manual examinations.” In a nation with an effective, competent and attentive government, this kind of adverse report would have elicited immediate intervention by the President and Commander in Chief ordering prompt investigation, follow-up and effective action to ensure that our most endowed Nigeria is not perceived negatively by one of our key trading partners, friendly nations and expectedly the global economy. This is even more important given our desperation for Foreign Direct Investment. Unfortunately, our incompetent APC- led government cannot give what they don’t have as they are the real perpetrators of the issues raised by the U.S. Government. This explains why Nigeria is unable to attract Foreign Direct Investment commensurate with our market size and potential. Of the $10.37 billion in total capital importation in the first quarter of 2026, only $135.08 million (about 1.3% of the total inflows) was Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), while about $9.86 billion (about 95.1% of the total inflows) went into Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) with loans and other capital streams accounting for the remaining.
