This became a separate post instead of a reply in this thread. Not sure why 🤨
The analogy is valid because the person requires liquor to get drunk, just like a woman requires sperm. However, the person driving is the one who does the drinking and driving, just like the woman is the one who gets pregnant. It's a perfect analogy.
I don't see what "interest" or not has to do with anything, whatsoever.
I don't see why you bother saying "the duty is to the child". The child came about due to HER choices, not his.
It's not false to say it only takes one. You need sperm, yes, but that doesn't create the child. It's when they are both put together and given the specific atmosphere to gestate... that's only done by the female. It's HER that makes pregnancy possible, mainly because it's HER body, which therefore makes it HER responsibility. It's weird how females try to avoid responsibility and accountability by ignoring this and trying to only think screaming "Sperm!" is sufficient. It's not.
She decides if she gets pregnant. She decides if she goes through gestation. She decides if she keeps the baby or not - which, I must say, you conveniently avoid in your response. She can avoid responsibility entirely, but he cannot. You failed to address this. Inconvenient fact, huh? Hard to cover that point, isn't it? How will you dance around it in your next reply? Probably going to ignore it, or maybe you'll say something but it will be lacking. We'll see!
You did say this, however: "If both caused the child, both owe the child unless a substitute takes the duty." <-- Ignoring the fact that she is primarily responsible for the birth, not him, this isn't even true. He didn't cause pregnancy, she did. It's a state of HER body that SHE has control over - he does not. SHE decides if she gets pregnant, does gestation/keeps it, he does not.
If both "owe the child", then they should both pay, even if the child is given up by the woman. She AND he should pay child support for 18+ years. If you don't think so, if it's adopted or left at a fire house, then you're giving HER options that HE does not have. If SHE can skirt responsibility, then so should HE. If SHE can give it up, then he shouldn't have to pay. He needs a choice as well.
You ignore this, though, because you want to avoid all responsibility and accountability. You aren't honest.
