The first Drone Deal with a country in the Americas will be with Canada. In Alberta, together with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, we looked at the drones that will be among the first to be used under this agreement. Canada is ready to place large orders, and 30% of the production will be transferred to Ukraine.
Of course, right now we need to find and scale up solutions to protect Ukraine from jet-powered “shaheds.” We are working on this and will share our developments and solutions with our partners.

Announcing Centaur 2.0!
Centaur is frontier, agentic infrastructure that you own. Centaur is like Claude Tag, but open source and on steroids.
Centaur 2.0 can connect to everything you have access to, and can reason over it next to where you work, either in Slack, Discord, Teams or in your local Codex or Claude Code via an MCP.
But context isn't useful if it can be accessed by anyone, so we rebuilt Centaur from the ground up for security. Centaur obviously doesn't have access to secrets because we're leveraging egress proxies.
Centaur 2.0 takes that a step further enabling administrators to configure who can access what from where. This means that Centaur can have access to private information that you normally wouldn't feel comfortable giving it access to (e.g. DMs or sensitive channels and docs) but only expose it to authorized principals.
It also means you can add Centaur to external channels and leverage it as a virtual colleague that doesn't live only in your Slack, for example, but also your Slack Connect channels! This is extremely powerful as we start moving to a world where agents cross organizational boundaries.
Also in case anyone's wondering, yes we rewrote it in Rust! Centaur is now way way more stable at durably executing threads, and its workflow engine is now based on Absurd.
We have been operating Centaur since January, officially launched and Open Sourced it in May, and now we're full speed towards making it the #1 open source agentic infrastructure.
To succeed at that, I'm thrilled to welcome @mslipper to the @paradigm team who will be leading all our Applied AI work, while continuing to maintain and extend Iron Proxy as the leading secure secret access for agents. Welcome Matt, it's an honor after all these years of knowing you!

I think ppl forget that Sam just wants to build a consumer product.
He says it himself: he doesn’t care about work. He cares about replicating the movie Her, getting Jony Ive to build the next AI iPhone, etc. The work shit is boring to him! Dario has just forced Sam into it to pay his compute bills.
But I dunno. I think Sam could be right. Dario made bank off his enterprise bet, but if that all gets replicated by open weight, those enterprises will squeeze his margins fast.
Meanwhile, if Sam can own the consumer… that does actually seem durable?

Stripe buying Venmo and putting it on Tempo rails makes so much sense.
Stripe is missing a consumer element which causes their take rate to compress below 100 bps (other have referenced 35+ bps publicly).
PayPal and Square have higher take rates due to their massive consumer and SMB businesses, which push their take rates somewhere between 100 bps and 200 bps.
Stripe is the bigger company from a transaction perspective, but the theory is they can drive take rates up if they own both sides of the transaction.
This of course means building a network, something they’ve attempted to do through various efforts like launching Stripe Link to hold cards on file and play with pay by bank and also buying Bridge to have a stablecoin beachhead in case that allows them to be fast movers into stablecoin based payment networks.
Buying PayPal would get them there in theory, but honestly there’s a shit ton of tech debt and the culture isn’t set up to integrate into Stripe. It’s like bolting an AMC Gremlin on a 2008 Audi A4 and trying to call it a three row Rivian. And the fact they need to involve Advent to fund it illustrates why they should have gone public already. A public company could do this without PE.
