Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

All together it was fun! I mostly grew up playing Halo 2 and Halo 3 online, sometimes some co-op with friends, never really went on a full solo play through like this.

Hadn’t even played the campaigns of ODST, Reach, or Halo 4 before. I was too addicted to multiplayer back then to care much about the story lol 😝

Tried a little experiment the last few weeks where every time I felt like doomscrolling, I instead picked up a book to read. The urge to doomscroll has completely left me and now I think I’m addicting to reading sci-fi 🛸

Tbh this has come as a complete shock to me. I’ve never been one to sit down and enjoy just reading a book, I guess I blame my ADHD… but I feel like there is something oddly refreshing about it given the current content landscape.

Anthropic is the boy who cried wolf. The 1st time they cried: GPT-2 XL is too dangerous. How laughable is that now? The 2nd time they cried: Mythos is too dangerous. Now we have an open Kimi K3. Did anything happen? Next time, even if there really is a wolf, nobody will care.
