i actually think it’s extremely telling of what an honest-to-God one-of-a-kind Artist-with-a-capital-A cruise is that rather than making some conventional bait-y biopic to finally get the gold he championed a creative clusterfuck (complimentary) like digger instead. he had far more on his mind than an oscar.
