When did criminal offenses like rape and robbery attract the option of out-of-court settlement?
We shouldn’t let this become the norm.
This is a very disturbing acquittal. The four suspects admit to raping and robbing their victims. They basically bribed or perhaps intimidated the victims and told the court they had an out-of-court settlement.
The two police officers will be back on patrol to continue terrorizing citizens. This acquittal is unacceptable and an insult to the rule of law. @katibainstitute @waikwawanyoike @WMutunga
