Finally addressed the “fogged window situation” at home three years later as it got progressively worse Ended up costing $1200 to replace the glass now that I have a roster of folks to call for every random San Francisco real estate issue 😅
Have a fogged up window at our home and first quote I got to replace the glass is $2500 😬 If it were an STR: Let’s do it! Going to build the whole experience around sitting in front of this window. Home: Errr, I think i’m okay with a foggy window for a bit. Possibly forever.

whenever I see a window like that, I feel the urge to recommend getting window film installed. Can't even tell you how much nicer it is to have "sunglasses" on windows like that (or all windows, really)

The fog usually means that gas between the panes has escaped and it’s no longer working as a proper barrier. Usually best to just replace since it’s not just an aesthetic issue
