The Rise of Skywalker. The Skywalker lineage ends, Palpatine’s granddaughter is the one left standing, and he literally asks her to strike him down. Turns out it was all part of his plan.
Name a film where the bad guy won...

Every time I see this clip I laugh way too hard, while also feeling slightly guilty for laughing that hard. I do hope he’s okay. And if anyone ever throws something at him again, for the love of God, make sure someone is filming. 😅
Bro got hit by the chair that makes you g@y 😂

The guy who wants to die because he has thoughts about destroying the world is just like Superman??? Sure you watched the show bud?
A lot of people are mad John didn’t kill Noah in the finale. Noah is basically Superman. Super powerful, raised on a Midwest farm by a good family, could take over the world if he wanted… but he chooses a normal life and helps people instead. That’s the whole point of the character. If you think John should’ve killed him, you’d have killed baby Superman too. #Lanterns

Kerry shooting Hal in the way she did is bad writing. “People kill for way less in real life.” Do they? Maybe that’s how it looks in a news bulletin. This wasn’t a home invasion or a drive-by where the violence is sudden and impersonal. It’s effectively a crime of passion. There is always a bigger story. The problem isn’t that Kerry makes an irrational decision. It’s that the show never does the work to make that decision believable.
This scene is a perfect litmus test because it seems like so many people think that, because she's making a hasty, irrational, stupid decision that it's bad writing, despite the fact that people kill for way less in real life.

Wow, there can't be many of these classic stars left. 102 is impressive. RIP Eva Marie Saint

"Who would do the right thing exactly correct" He's talking about Kerry getting away with the murder not committing the murder. Which doesn't matter because they have her get away with it anyway.
"Lanterns" writer Tom King on Hal Jordan's murder: "We had a big debate. It was like, 'Does Kerry Kane get punished?' Nothing could punish her more than the fact that she did that thing and she has to live with it. There's no, like, jail isn't worse than that."

What? Did this person watch the show? He hadn't had the ring for 10 years.
As sad as it is to see him go, you should remember that earlier in the season she shot at him to "fool the manhunter" with the assumption he'd block the bullets with his ring. He did. She's extremely emotional here, and probably expected him to block them again, but he didn't.

I thought for sure Hurley was going to get skinny. I love that the actor said "Fuck that, write around me" 😅

Sin batallas CGI, sin fanservice ni cameos. #Lanterns tuvo una de las mejores conclusiones que he podido ver en una serie.

Well, he’s taken everything else. I’m surprised he’s not now John Skywalker.
Did anyone else noticed that Earl is now in the Stewart's family house?

To show John's guilt over what happened. I don't think it was done well but pretty sure that's what they were going for.
what was the point of her character. why was she in the show at all

She flew off the handle so quickly, I’m starting to wonder who else she’s killed in this town. Runny eggs? Bins knocked over? Bad lover? All bullets to the head?

I’m shocked that the cop who did absolutely nothing to investigate her partner’s murder and basically went, “Could be anyone,” turned out to be the killer. What a twist.

Do this!
LOST star Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke, shares intriguing revival idea 15 years later. "Quite honestly, one of my fantasies would be for everyone from LOST to come out the back of the church, where the light was, and for them all to be this old now. Then we’d be like, "What happened? What do we do now?" I think that’d be kind of amazing." (via: @screenrant)

Nothing says “highly educated man” like “aks.” Curious whether the Lanterns writers would have made the same choice with a white character with John’s extensive education and background.

It was great casting. I wish they'd done a better job with the writers room.
Fans say Kyle Chandler's Hal Jordan rivals Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man as one of the best superhero casting choices of all time. bit.ly/4jEXtuw
