Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40! People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement). The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4137…

Who's ready to get absolutely demolished this week?

Markets are finally pricing the complete unravelling of "America first" and the "donroe doctrine"and global macro is not an egg that can be unscrambled. The scale of things that can go wrong has exploded in multiple and multiplicative vectors. we are just getting started with the post-Maga and proto-SI(!) paradigm that most are not even aware that they should start questioning things beyond what is in their face. Stay humble. Keep grinding.

If scott thinks it weird that is telling you something.
Really weird price action across the board today. PPI print really hot so S&P and NDX down but S&P Equal Weight and DJIA higher. Treasuries screaming higher despite PPI print so gold is up 1.6% but Bitcoin is down 1.8%. TailDex (TDEX) up another 6.9%. Be careful out there.

Stable genius mark carney knows best and accurately so when he describes bessent and his manners as beneath the dignity of his office.
Scott Bessent is the walking embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Borrowing costs are surging, and his response to a senator asking why is a "For Dummies" insult. Has any Treasury Secretary ever been this wrong, this smug, and this much of a failure?

$tsla and $spcx will merge after money has moved them into the role of leader of the SI era

Super (!) intelligence as a phraseology makes a lot of sense when you realize what the power players are doing is creating a super intelligent mega brain made of the best chips and memory and sealing it off from public availability. The masses will get normie brained ai systems- they can't tell the diffence and don't care because it's free(!). Those in the special private chat will get access to the super intelligences running on the huge data centre in the CEO's bunker on his 30000 acre ranch running on solar power and batteries/small nuke(!) power

Every mention of ai as si is probably good for 5-7% gains for $tsla and $spcx it is what it is.
No more AI SI It’s better

the mandate of heaven, if it was ever truly held, was lost through arrogance
In the early days of Trump’s second term, his economic advisers laid out a simple theory: Show the bond market that Washington was serious about closing its gaping deficits and long-term interest rates would fall on their own. Trump could leave the Fed alone. It hasn’t worked out that way. The White House theory rested on fiscal restraint that never arrived and overlooked how much of Trump’s own agenda would feed the price pressures now pushing rates higher. Tariffs raised the cost of imported goods. The war with Iran sent oil and diesel prices soaring. wsj.com/economy/trump-econom…

About 2B people depend on rice for about 40% of their daily calories. For half of those people it represents about 30% of their income. Anyway, rice futures up almost 70% this year. Golden age.

Trump gave one of the worst speeches I've ever heard in my life at the UN yesterday. He believes he is the messiah and he's the most cringe decaying boomer grifter in history. Lucky for me I'm Canadian. We went through that already and now have a real boss.

trump's implosion was a direct result of him surviving an assassination attempt(s) and believing, after surrounding himself with loyalists and 'yes men', he was ordained by God to simply rely on his emotions and intuition in order to bring salvation and glory to all the earth as the greatest messianic revelation of all time. but instead he's simply a durable and gross old weird collapsed narrcist boomer, classically turning everything they touch into the opposite of their vain boomer dreams and leaving a cluttered attic of delusions for the living to sort through after their ultimate demise. facts is facts.
Trump wanted to start his week in front of the cameras, flying to New York for the United Nations General Assembly. Instead, the five major television networks, Fox News included, have refused to serve as his press pool in solidarity with the outlets he banned, which means no television pool will be following him today. CNN, MS NOW and Politico are suing to get back into the White House, and Trump answered by posting that he cherishes the free press while calling the news media a cancer. The House majority leader went on national television to defend the ban and got fact-checked twice, once on air and once by Elon Musk’s own chatbot. And New York Attorney General Letitia James is refusing to let Trump’s billionaire friend take control of CNN without guarantees that it stays independent.

Mark Carney is a stable genius.
Canada was just invited to become the first associate member of the European Union. Think about that. Trump spent years treating America’s closest allies like enemies, threatening them, insulting them, and pushing them away. So what happens? They stop depending on us and start building stronger alliances with each other. That isn’t “America First.” It’s America increasingly left on the sidelines. The damage being done to America’s standing in the world could outlast Trump by decades. And one day, when my kids ask what I did while all of this was happening, I’ll be damn glad I can tell them I never voted for the man responsible for it. x.com/NXT4EU/status/21001372…
