A woman and the man she had eloped with were allegedly taken to Dudhrej in the name of a "cleansing ritual". Both were tied to a tree and beaten with wooden sticks and a baton.
The man was reportedly forced to rape her too. He was also reportedly forced into a degrading act and made to drink her urine.
The woman was locked in a room and gang-raped. Her husband and relatives were behind it. The accused filmed everything and put the video on social media.
A crowd gathered around and mocked her.
