I think @cursor is really underappreciated. Some people still think of it as just an editor. It is not that. Putting aside the cloud stuff and Composer, their harness is really good. The era of subsidised tokens is coming to an end, third-party harnesses will become more valuable

Launching Focus in @raycast on Windows this week, back-to-back with dictation last week. Both were equally challenging to port, but in completely different ways. This is fun though

If you’re into virtual desktops on Windows, but find them annoying to use, @raycast also has virtual desktop commands that are really nice. You can switch desktops instantly with no animations, move windows around, auto-create desktops when you jump to them, auto-close empty ones when you leave, rename them, and a bunch of other stuff. It takes a bit of time to get used to it, but once you do, it is really convenient.

Dictation is now available on @raycast for Windows. I liked it so much on macOS, started porting it on my own. I’m glad we can finally share the results.

The thing some people are missing when they compare @raycast v2 to Electron or Tauri is that it’s neither. It’s in its own separate category. It’s not a desktop app built by web devs who don’t want to deal with native. It’s the opposite. Half of it is in Swift, Rust and C#
