Epic Beizzati😂 "CONgress hasn't been in power in Tamil Nadu since 1967 on its own. CONgress is out of power In Bengal since 1977, Bihar since 1990, UP since 1989, Odisha since 1999. Ever since transparent elections started happening, CCTV cameras installed, & independent media arrived, CONgress has started finding it difficult to come to power"

Here we go again ‼️ Rahul Gandhi is holding a press conference today on the Election Commission, and within the first few minutes, we spotted a claim worth fact-checking. Lie No. 1: Rahul Gandhi is questioning Amit Shah’s statement that the BJP would rule for decades, arguing that no one could make such a statement unless they knew elections were rigged. But political leaders routinely make such predictions as political rhetoric. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has said Congress will rule Telangana for 10 years, while Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy went a step further and said Congress would remain in power for 20 years. Have they also made a deal with the Election Commission to fix elections in Telangana alone? Or are these simply political statements expressing confidence about future electoral victories? And the Indira Gandhi comparison doesn’t prove the claim either. She lost the 1977 election after the Emergency, with the Janata alliance winning 298 of 542 Lok Sabha seats. (The Indian Express) On the economy, the 1970s saw India’s average growth rate fall to 2.9%, alongside severe economic volatility and the oil shock. (DEA) Fact-check: Political predictions are not evidence of election-rigging.

I am disturbed to see Prof. Suryanarayana Doola being vilified over the recent controversy at IIT Bombay. I know Surya personally. He is one of the finest faculty members I have known in the IIT system, and a gentleman of the highest integrity. Whatever concerns have been raised should be examined fairly. A public campaign against an individual serves no one. With over 25 years of experience at IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi, here is my take on the entire controversy and also a solution, which I believe we must look into. The problems we are seeing are all primarily because of the one size fits all approach in IITs. With students coming through an intensive coaching culture, and classrooms bringing together students whose JEE Advanced ranks range from single digits to five digits (in the same class -for example CSE in IIT Delhi), we now have highly heterogeneous classrooms across the IIT system. Language also further adds to the challenge. The question to ask therefore is, with such heterogeneity, can we expect every student to learn at the same pace? There is nothing wrong with opening the doors of our best institutions to students from different backgrounds. The question is whether we have addressed this heterogeneity in our teaching-learning methods. A faculty member cannot pitch every class at several levels at once. Move too slowly, and some students lose interest. Move too quickly, and others are left behind. In my classes, I have also seen students with excellent JEE Adv ranks struggle. Coaching had prepared them to solve familiar types of questions quickly. Many are lost when they see a question which they haven't solved before. This is not a difficulty confined to any admission category. The move from coaching to independent learning can be hard for anyone. Here is a solution. I feel we should consider moving our B.Tech programmes to five years in IITs. Those who meet the credit requirements could complete it in four years, or perhaps three and a half. Others could spread out their courses over five years and receive more academic help, including recorded lectures, online material and support with language where needed. The pace would be decided by performance within the IIT, not by a student’s admission category or entrance rank. Calling it a five year programme for everyone has a psychological advantage. Students who need more time would simply be following the programme as designed, while those who are ready could complete it sooner. No one would be singled out for taking a fifth year. We must uphold academic standards. We must also recognise that students do not all arrive at the same point, or learn at the same pace. Giving them the time and support to meet those standards is a responsibility of the system. @iitbombay #IITs @iitdelhi

We know you are a slow learner @RahulGandhi, so we will repeat this fact check for you. Especially. because you are using girl students to score political points. But facts dont lie, they show that educational access and residential facilities for students particularly girls and tribal children have expanded significantly since 2014: • Hostels: 37,941 → 55,522, up 46% • Bed capacity: 58.32 lakh → 87.78 lakh, up 51% • Students residing in hostels: 38.25 lakh → 49.46 lakh, up 29% • Higher-education enrolment: 3.42 crore → 4.50 crore, up 31.5% At the senior-secondary level, girls are now outperforming boys in enrolment. In 2024–25, the Gross Enrolment Ratio was 60.9% for girls against 56.2% for boys—a lead of 4.7 percentage points. Residential education has also expanded substantially: • Functional Eklavya Model Residential Schools increased from just 110 in 2013–14 to 479 by July 2025—growth of over 335%. Overall, 728 EMRSs have been approved, providing tribal children free accommodation, meals, books and uniforms. • Under Samagra Shiksha, 242 residential schools and hostels were completed between 2018–19 and November 2024. • 2,303 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas were upgraded up to Class XII, allowing girls—especially those from disadvantaged communities—to continue residential education beyond Class VIII. • Under PM-JANMAN, 194 hostels were approved in 2023–24 and 2024–25 for children from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. • Under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, 1,000 additional tribal hostels are targeted by 2028–29. In 2024–25 alone, 304 hostels worth ₹1,102.19 crore were approved. • In February 2024 alone, 34 SC/OBC hostels worth ₹165.81 crore were inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid, creating accommodation for 5,456 students. So Rahul Gandhi, stop using innocent girls and their aspirations to score political points. One student’s concern deserves to be addressed. But it cannot be used to erase a decade of expanding hostels, increasing enrolment and falling dropout rates.

When they land Americans on the moon next year, Trump will claim that part of the moon, at least. I am not kidding. Or he may claim the entire moon as American. Please don't cite me rules and agreements. He's also likely to militarize the moon saying "If we don't, China will."
