I've been playing with Spectre.Console for nearly a year now, but I'm still impressed with how simple and elegant it can be. This is a WIP screenshot on some hobbyist gamedev content going into my next book.

I found myself channeling Mr. Torgue of the Borderlands series of games last night as I put the finishing touches on chapter 1 of my next book. My central message was "SIDE PROJECTS ARE AMAZING AND AWESOME AND .NET HELPS YOU DO THEM". I daydreamed on the idea and generated these.

It begins again. Bringing out the squirrel simulation to teach Reinforcement Learning to the kiddos. This time around it's in Blazor. Expect graphics in the future, but for now, simple shapes are fine.

I've been working in @AvaloniaUI over the weekend on building out a cross-platform desktop app for my digital dungeon master AI agent I've been working on. It's coming along. Also, I'm very amused at the copilot-generated sample interaction I've been using for UI design.

I've been tinkering around with AI Orchestration and LLMs to help facilitate a solo D&D campaign in an alien world setting. Tools involved are Semantic Kernel, C#, MidJourney, Azure OpenAI, and D&D Beyond with Obsidian to record my journey. It's a lot of fun.

Finished costume. It was a hit at the Girls Who Code cohort celebration / Halloween party. Also, the spike in my walking stick was super useful for balloon cleanup.

I had tough luck finding an affordable wizard costume I liked that fit for an end of cohort Halloween celebration, so I put one together from assorted parts - to mixed results. Also, I own a kilt now.

This is one of my favorite pictures from @momentumdevcon. I love that @DerKatzenbar took it, that I'm using an absolutely insane presentation remote she custom built as a gag gift, that I'm wearing an organizer shirt, and that @thesoccerdev is right there in the front row.

I had a lovely day today with @osurunner262 at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. I really enjoyed the new-to-me barbarian combat tourney and the multitude of costumes around. We got a leather journal and some honey.

Today I got to represent @LeadingEDJE at WIT Con Columbus sharing about prototyping AI and Machine Learning systems to a packed room of about 80 ladies. It was a great event and an honor to participate.

Kudos to @BarretBlake for a fantastic presentation at @CONDG last night on .NET Aspire at the CGI office in Polaris. Barret did an amazing job presenting on the hottest new thing in .NET at the moment and was extremely knowledgeable on questions - even with it being so new.
