BREAKING | 🇺🇸🇨🇺‼️‼️ The U.S. military is conducting contingency planning for possible military action against Cuba, with internal planning documents indicating that certain forces could potentially be required within a 90-to-120-day timeframe, according to CBS News.
CBS News says senior Pentagon officials have been examining possible military options involving Cuba as part of ongoing contingency planning. U.S. officials have stressed that the existence of military plans does not mean President Donald Trump or the Pentagon has made a decision to launch an operation.
The reported timeframe makes the planning noteworthy, but it should not be confused with an order to invade Cuba. What it does show is that Washington is moving beyond purely theoretical discussion and examining what forces could be required if the administration ultimately chose a military option.
