My case for building on LinkedIn > Twitter
On Twitter you're talking to other founders, VCs, and engineers. It's fast, it's fun, and it's where you build a name inside tech. Great for status. Great for hiring. Great for feeling like you're in the room.
If you sell B2B, the person who signs your contract is a VP of something. They're not up at 11pm scrolling X. They're on LinkedIn between meetings, watching who shows up in their feed with something actually useful.
We've driven $110M+ in pipeline for founders. Almost none of it started on Twitter.
Not because Twitter is bad. Because the buyer lives somewhere else.
So here's what I tell people:
If you want a reputation among startup founders & VCs post on Twitter.
If you want enterprise pipeline, post on LinkedIn.
If you sell B2B and can only do one, it's not close.
Most founders pick Twitter anyway, because posting there is more fun. Then they wonder why the content never turns into revenue.
Build where the person who pays you is actually paying attention.
