DevFest Ilorin 2025 was incredible! 3 days. Hundreds of amazing people. One unforgettable moment was @shollsman showing up to support our community. That meant the world to us. Huge thanks to every speaker who shared knowledge. My team @gdgIlorin, who made it happen, and all attendees who showed up and participated in the hackathon. Massive thanks to our sponsors. It has been an incredible 3 days. Can't wait to see you next year at Devfest Ilorin 2026 #devfestilorin25 #devfestilorin2025

The agent did great for three minutes. Then it forgot the job. Dami Oshun @thatc0olguyy builds backend and AI systems and leads PHPTalks Lagos, where practical builds are part of the learning.

We’re excited to welcome @celerlinks as a sponsor for DevFest Ilorin 2026! 🥳🚀 Celerlinks is an all-in-one Nigerian digital platform for paying utility bills, managing event tickets, sending digital gifts, and running business communications like bulk SMS and email tools.

If you're a Nigerian developer, whether you're just starting out or you've been building for years, there's so much you can build and learn with homegrown technologies 🇳🇬❤️ We have: 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @pxxl_space instead of Vercel for hosting. 🇳🇬 @StackshiftCloud for VPS hosting and management, as an alternative to providers like Hostinger and tools like Coolify. 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @sendly_ai_ instead of Resend for business and transactional emails. 🇳🇬 @cencori instead of OpenRouter and Cloudflare AI Gateway for AI model access and management. 🇳🇬 Sabilytics.com instead of Google Analytics and DataFast for website analytics. 🇳🇬 @OutRayTunnel for tunnelling local services, as an alternative to tools like ngrok and Cloudflare Tunnel. 🇳🇬 @Bachs_hq for international payments, as an alternative to Stripe. And these are just the ones I can remember right now! I'm not saying you must stop using international tools. I'm saying we have people right here building alternatives worth trying, supporting, and contributing to. With better local pricing that fits us. I know I'm missing so many other products. What other Nigerian-built products and their global alternatives should be on this list? Drop them in the replies! 👇 And if you're building something in Nigeria or anywhere across Africa, please submit your project to Africa Is Building so more people can discover what you're working on ❤️ africaisbuilding.com/submit

I refused to let the course be the only thing I was. Built Stitchly, worked as a Product Designer and Community Manager for local and international companies, ran Her Tech Africa (3,000+ women trained across 15 countries), spoke at tech conferences globally and a lot more 😂

Using Cross-talk has really helped me understand and appreciate the gap between Claude 5.5 and Gemini 3.8 Gemini under-performed so badly in my recent testing and work that Claude had to advise me to shut it down. I've always been a big fan of Gemini and the agents, but this is just appalling and sad.
