Yeah it's funny, I supported Bernie in 2016 and 2020, and was disappointed he didn't win the primaries. I watched people like
@KyleKulinski for years and started to adopt the same "both sides are bad" and accelerationist takes. But personally, I always voted for Democrat in the general because of what was on the line and how much I hated Trump. I would vote a pile of shit in before I sit aside and let Trump win.
After watching more liberals like
@TheOmniLiberal @hutchinson @WhickTv and some others, I started to realize the bubble I was more in online. Online space felt like it was either leftists or MAGA. And I realized that I'm actually more of a liberal than a leftist, and we need to be more proud to be liberals and Democrats. Because truly, both sides are not the same. And now it's my goal to fight against this type of rhetoric.
They're not leftists. I grew up in leftism and I know the real people and the fake people. These people are fake. Acting out issues, using leftism as a vessel. Their behavior during the Biden admin is a perfect demonstration.
