It's so blatantly obvious Cathy Engelbert is giving orders to the refs to sabotage Caitlin as much as possible bcuz when you have her being mauled in front of refs looking right at the play and swallowing their whistle it's too damn obvious it's being done on purpose. The WNBA has a task force for this. Last night it happened again anyway. Fourth quarter, Fever down late. Clark drives, gets grabbed around the waist and slammed to the floor. Officials call a personal foul. No flagrant review. It's the same pattern Fever coach Stephanie White has been flagging all season, the same one that led the league to retroactively upgrade a different no-call to a flagrant weeks later. The system for reviewing these calls exists. It just doesn't seem to catch anything in real time. Clark finished 4-of-15 shooting after getting hit like that all night. The box score says rough game. The tape says something else.
