who are the best angel's in sf? cosign.co/questions/who-are-… Get your votes in!
Excited to introduce @Cosign: the curated professional network for the startup community: cosign.co Our goal is to create the following: - A comprehensive startup directory of investors, companies, and operators, including what they worked on and who they worked on it with. - Cosign graph: Who shaped your career? Who were you actually in the trenches with? Who would work with you again? Who thinks you’re someone to watch? - Durable reputation: Great endorsements happen every day on X and disappear into the feed. Cosign attaches those signals permanently to people and companies. - Discovery: Who are the best fintech angels? Which AI companies should I watch? Who are the best designers? - Intent network: Privately signal “I’d invest in them,” “I’d hire them,” “I’d work with them,” or eventually even “I’d acquire this company.” Match people when interest exists on both sides. Imagine if Wikipedia, LinkedIn, and OG AngelList had a baby. Though Cosign is a community, not a business. In order to join, you need to be cosigned. Or you can apply directly. David Booth and I started this idea 7 years ago but didn’t have the firepower to make it work. Now we do. No one has really touched LinkedIn in 20 years. Excited to take a swing. cosign.co

0 to $30M+ a month in 9 months and Ethos is just getting started…
1/ Ethos just completed our largest payout cycle ever. We now average $1M/day paid to experts worldwide: tens of millions a month to tens of thousands of people. 2/ Behind every payout is a real person. One expert, 20+ years in enterprise sales and a year without work: "Ethos came at a time when I was really down and not sure if I would work again professionally." 3/ Another put it better than we can: "It made me realise that my experience isn't becoming irrelevant because the world is changing." We're building for a future where human opportunity grows in tandem with AI. 4/ To our team, who worked every weekend to scale operations for tens of thousands of active experts in days: thank you. You did in months what takes most companies years. This is only the beginning.

super excited to share what i've been working on at ghost! i’ve always believed that the most capable personal ai will be the one you trust the most. the current solutions are "VMs" or "isolated clouds", but it’s hard to trust a system until it's a form factor i can hold... excited to share more soon :)

OpenAI researcher @Houda_nait on the diseases capitalism can’t afford to cure, and how AI could finally change that: "There's maybe 10,000 rare diseases in the US which touch 30 million people, and there is a cure for less than 5% of them. That's crazy to me." "If you are a child who's born with a rare disease, your probability of getting treatment is lower just because there's too few people who have the same mutation." "The reason why we don't invest as much in those diseases is just pure capitalism. It's irrational for labs to pursue treatments for those diseases because the expected payoff is lower. But today you can start finding more labs investing in those because it's cheaper to try." @OpenAI

I’m joining @GoogleDeepMind to build world models and interactive media experiences. This move means I’ll be dropping out of @StanfordGSB and stepping down as its co-student body president. I’m incredibly excited for what’s next. I still believe deeply in the value of an MBA, and I’ll write separately about how I made the decision to leave Stanford. For now, I wanted to share some of the thinking behind what’s next:

fal Marketing is HIRING! Since I joined a year ago, we’ve 4x’d the team, grown to 2.5M+ users, and shipped more products and launches than I can count. If you care deeply about where media and creativity are going, this is the place for you. We’re a scrappy team that’s constantly experimenting, iterating, and building. We’re hiring for: - Growth marketers - Solutions marketers - Community growth - Creative producers - Creative technologists And if you don’t fit one of the roles above reach out anyway. If you’re excited about what we’re doing we’ll find a place for you.
