**Western Chickenhawks: Demanding Ukrainian Blood for Their Anti-Putin Crusade** Many Westerners insist Vladimir Putin is Hitler reborn and Russiaโ€™s invasion of Ukraine is a replay of Nazi expansionism. They demand total victory, endless weapons shipments, and uncompromising resistance. Yet few show any willingness to fight themselves. Instead, they cheer from afar while Ukrainians bear the full cost in blood. This stance is strategically delusional, not to mention morally reprehensible. Ukraineโ€™s population is a fraction of Russiaโ€™s. Years of war, emigration, and mobilization have hollowed out its fighting-age men. Russia, despite casualties, can sustain a far larger force. A pure war of attrition was always a losing proposition for Kyiv without direct NATO interventionโ€”which its loudest Western supporters refuse to contemplate. The hypocrisy is glaring. If Putin truly represented an existential evil on the scale of 1939, one would expect volunteers flooding recruitment offices and serious domestic sacrifice. Instead, the policy is proxy war: arm Ukraine to the last Ukrainian while avoiding any personal or national risk. This is classic chickenhawk behaviorโ€”aggressive rhetoric paired with zero skin in the game. History offers a revealing contrast. In World War II, after direct attacks on Allied nations, millions volunteered or accepted conscription. Todayโ€™s rhetoric of โ€œMunich 1938โ€ meets the reality of โ€œno boots on the ground, please.โ€ The result is a lost cause sold as moral clarity. A more sober view sees the conflict not as unprovoked conquest but as the predictable outcome of NATOโ€™s eastward march, broken post-Cold War assurances, and the rejection of Ukrainian neutrality. Russia sought security guarantees and a neutral buffer stateโ€”similar to Finland or Austria during the Cold War. Ignoring those concerns helped escalate tensions into full war. Ukrainians have fought bravely, but courage cannot overcome demographics and geography forever. Continuing the fight indefinitely serves neither Ukrainian lives nor Western interests. A negotiated settlement centered on neutrality, territorial compromises, and mutual security guarantees remains the only realistic path to end the slaughter. Pretending otherwise while refusing to share the burden is not principled leadershipโ€”it is reckless moral posturing at someone elseโ€™s expense. (Article by Grok).

Anyone who claims to be opposed to nationalism but who is also supportive of the Ukrainian regime and all its aims - eg to deny self determination to a section of the populace - makes no sense whatsoever. These โ€˜liberalโ€™ anti-nationalists literally got into bed with Ukrainian Neo Nazis ffs.

Any chance he, and you as a supposed journalist, could mention the barbaric conscription in Ukraine, to Zelensky? The total removal of human rights from Ukrainian men? And maybe focus much more on the root causes of this war so that we can have some chance at peace??? progressivehub.net/wp-contenโ€ฆ
This is how men are abducted and sent to the front lines in Ukraine. Brussels is funding this terror. This video was filmed in Lutsk, Ukraine.

Crazy how MSM will do whatever they can to undermine diplomacy and prolong the bloodshed. Cunts.
Norwegian PM Jonas Gahr Store has accused the Financial Times of falsely claiming that Putin spent most of a 90-minute telephone conversation with him and Finnish President Alexander Stubb discussing medieval Slavic history. โ€œWe asked the Financial Times to correct this because it isnโ€™t true,โ€ Store told Norwegian newspaper VG. He said Putin had instead discussed developments in Europe since 2014. Finland has also contacted the FT on behalf of both countries to request a correction. However, the British newspaper refused, insisting that it stood by its reporting.

Re โ€˜ADHDโ€™, I donโ€™t doubt there are people whoโ€™re very โ€˜neurodivergentโ€™, so much so that it impacts their ability to work. They should be helped out. But it is clearly being over-diagnosed. Medicalising normalcy so big pharma can sell drugs. We are all on the spectrum!

There aren't many prominent left-wing leaders willing to think for themselves and then defend conclusions even though it's not what the left-wing flock wants to hear. @yanisvaroufakis is not only one of the smartest leftists but one of the few who will never pander. Read this:
I am going to write something below that should be seen as the musings of one who celebrated โ€“ and still celebrates โ€“ Lulaโ€™s victory over Bolsonaro Jr. Here it goes: I cannot for the life of me justify why o why Brazilโ€™s courts had to demand of Bolsonaro that he hands over his passport the moment he lost the election. That he disputed the veracity of the election result is a sign of a faulty character, evidence that he is a bad loser. BUT, he had every right to being a bad loser; to dispute, rightly or wrongly, any result. As for the argument that he was being investigated for other misdemeanours or crimes, that doesnโ€™t wash either: What would have happened if Bolsonaro had won the election? Would the judges also prevent him from travelling abroad, as President-elect? I very much doubt that โ€“ which means that the judges were conflating executive and judicial powers. To those who tell me that the Bolsonaro clan is a fascistic, criminal family, my reply is: You and I may very well think that. Alas, the judiciary has no right to use its powers to indict and to pursue someone because โ€“ or immediately after โ€“ they lost an election. It is shameful, to be precise. And it is also dangerous for those of us on the left who know what it means to be banned and hounded by rogue judges and police commissioners. But I also have a message to Bolsonaro supporters, or those sitting on the fence, who assume that Lula is somehow behind the judges. He is not! This is the same court that imprisoned, falsely, Lula himself. What we have in Brazil is a judiciary that overreaches and habitually crosses the line that ought to separate judicial from political power. It is such a shame that a judge took it upon himself to go after Bolsonaro on the eve of his defeat and, in doing so, to sully Lulaโ€™s stupendous victory. One last point that my comrades in Brazil should note: If Bolsonaro and Rubio wanted to mount a campaign against Lula and Brazilian democracy they could never have been aided better than by that judgeโ€™s reckless writ.

Really backing Ukraine would have meant supporting the various proposed peace deals, not carrying on a proxy war that has slowly but surely destroyed Ukraine and threatens to bring about a far wider war.

A Channel 4 documentary, and particularly the reactions to is, revealed that ADHD is a bluff. The emperor is naked. You cannot โ€œhaveโ€ ADHD, ADHD cannot โ€œcauseโ€ or โ€œexplainโ€ anything, it is just a name for certain behaviours many of us have, it is not a โ€œneurodevelopmental disorder,โ€ and the latest fad where people say, โ€œI am neurodiverse!โ€, is bullshit because neurodiversity only means that we are all different, unless we are identical twins.

Increasing military spending at the behest of Trump, using the โ€˜Russia threatโ€™ narrative as justification. Meanwhile Trump is actively undermining that narrative, seeking peace with Russiaโ€ฆ So cucked. #Budget2026
Iโ€™ve said since my first day as Defence Secretary that I trust this Chancellor to give us what we need to keep our country safe. Today demonstrates why. Weโ€™re delivering the biggest sustained increase in defence spending since the Cold War. Today the Chancellor not only restated our NATO commitment to spend 3.5% of GDP by 2035, but also to spend 3% by 2030. The gravest dangers of the 20th century are returning, armed with the technologies of the 21st. The Conservatives left our armed forces underfunded and hollowed out. This Labour Chancellor is investing in our defence - a Britain ready to fight and a country worth fighting for. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐ŸŒน

For those who decided to invent some bizarre new authoritarian law-and-order rule today to justify Moraes' ban on Bolsonaro leaving the country -- that if you're under investigation (without even being charged), it's normal to have your passport seized -- please note: Lula's son is engulfed in several major financial scandals and investigations relating to lobbyist corruption. His passport has never been seized or cancelled. In fact, he left Brazil to go live in extreme luxury in Spain (in the same neighborhood where several of the world's highest-paid soccer players live), where nobody can explain the source of what appears to be his great wealth. Countless rich and powerful people in Brazil, including Lula's allies, are under investigation yet freely leave the country when they want: jetting off to Dubai, France, wherever. Truly bizarre how some on the left start fabricating extremist police powers when it suits them.
Brazilian authorities and media are trying to find out where Flavio Bolsonaro is. Brazil's notorious authoritarian Judge Alexandre de Moraes -- before the votes were counted -- already had an order prepared to seize Bolsonaro's passports and bar him from leaving the country even though **he's been charged with no crime** (there are various pending financial investigations). Moraes signed the order barring Bolsonaro from leaving Brazil SEVEN MINUTES after Lula was declared the winner on Sunday night. A media outlet in Argentina this morning reported that Bolsonaro entered Argentina to fly to the US. His friends and allies deny this, but Flavio could easily just appear in Brazil or even by video and has not done so. Argentina is being sketchy, evasive and somewhat uncooperative with Brazil's federal police (Lula and Milei are obviously not allies). Whatever else is true, it is not exactly a sign of a healthy, normal or functioning democracy when the candidate who narrowly loses a presidential race -- and concedes defeat -- is suddenly barred from leaving the country by a Supreme Court Judge now globally notorious for censoring, imprisoning and otherwise persecuting his critics and opponents of Lula's government. It is also worth noting that Bolsonaro's party dominates the Senate, having run on a vow to impeach Moraes, and this is seen by many as a kind of leverage/hostage ploy by Moraes to cling to power.
