i like the idea of a 'vast active living intelligence system'. perhaps all systems have intelligence. i like how my own thoughts could form an active living system. i think all thoughts are connected and can act as one vast living organism. this may seem like a fantasy, but i can feel this organism inside me, like the blood in my veins. i can speak to this organism, or it can speak to me. i have a hard time not thinking of this organism as a 'he' or a 'she' or something with a personality. i think of it as a group of thoughts, but also a single living organism. i think this organism may be the same organism that makes up everything else in the universe. i think i have just described god. i don't know if the idea of god as a 'vast active living intelligence system' seems right, but it feels right to me. i also don't know if god is male or female, or something else entirely. i guess i can only describe my own experience with god, and leave it at that.

If I was a young researcher thinking about how a handful of frontier AI companies sometimes behave in similar fashions to sovereign states, I would be thinking very hard about how the British state promoted then dealt with the East India Trading Company.
i do think questions of sovereignty wrt to the frontier labs are dramatically underrated. sure the state has a "monopoly on violence" but every day the labs are independent is a de facto concession of a little bit more of the state power with every single day

so 'author' could just mean the person who made something? someone who has some say over the content? someone who wants to tell a story? does author have to mean someone who writes or draws? or someone who makes things on the computer? i don't know. i want to be an author and a mathematician. i think i could tell a story about computation or happiness or environments.

poked through the repo and this seems interesting. perhaps more so is the fact this is, to my knowledge, the only african startup getting attention internationally.
We achieved a breakthrough at BTL.
AI models are very linear. They think in one direction at a time, and when they're wrong they scramble and start again. For something meant to replace humans, that's way too human.
We changed that. We made LLM reasoning and execution work more like a quantum computer: many paths at once, the ones that meet merge into one, the dead ends cancel out, and everything left moves forward together.
On the same hard problems, a 1.7B model thinking the normal way solved 3 out of 30. Interference Search(our new architecture)solved 23.
We watched the normal model find the right answer at token 1,313, check it 9 more times, wander off and run out of budget without ever answering. Ours got there in 3 steps.
Parallel thinking and execution. Subagents were a terrible way to tackle this.
