I've long been a fan of @yosp's work, ethics, and sensibilities. A few years ago he came to @free_play's Parallels. He never asked for a free ticket he bought one. Despite his phone ringing multiple times, he loved it and even spoke that love at PAX Storytime the next day.
We NEED advocates for indies in our industry. Not just the big-hitters, but the artful ones. The earnest ones. The beautiful, financially-doomed ones.
I'm honoured to have been a tiny punctuation mark in @yosp's journey, I can't wait to see where he directs his passion next.
if you want to convince a friend to come see this incredible show where Nixon Sings
why not show them the incredible comedy album TEETH LIKE BEAK

Finally watched The Acolyte on flights this week, itβs the most interesting thing Star Wars has done in a long time and they cancelled it after one season. Only valuing consumption is catastrophically devaluing art.
Gamers are never beating the "seeing it as a toy and not a legitimate artistic medium" allegations, if you said this about a movie somebody would kill you immediately
37 hours in, final flight of two hours, then a one hour taxi ride. Then dinner, then sleep. Or battling with jet lag and no sleep. Weβll see.

Went for a lovely walk through London with @benbritten today, saw the palace, Hyde Park, architecture. Best bit?
A man whose fashion was impeccable walked past in Hyde Park, talking nihilistic philosophy at the top of his lungs on a FaceTime call sounding like Werner Herzog.
Topical; if youβre newer in the industry and want to chat about stuff, Iβll be at Boatbuilderβs Yard all PAX Saturday. Feel free to swing by, or grab some time here: calendly.com/esdin/migw-openβ¦
