NOTHING SUPPORTS HIS CLAIMS. There is ZERO EVIDENCE the USA had anything to do with it yet Donald Trump's actually taking a victory lap for the Fairford arrests.
HERE'S THE TRUTH BECAUSE IT MATTERS: UK police got a phone call at 12:45am about three suspicious vans heading toward RAF Fairford. Armed officers responded. Five men arrested. 85 homes emptied. Bomb squad on the vans.
The Guardian: The operation was not intelligence-led. Investigators had not known about a plot in advance. A resident reported the vehicles.
So the sequence is not “we were watching them for a long time.” The sequence was: A neighbor calls 999 → British cops stop the vans → Trump claims the credit.
If U.S. intel had them under view, show it. Name the agency. Say when the surveillance started. And why wouldn't the UK be thanking Trump?
Until then it’s a campaign LIE parked on top of a British street tip.
