Instead of improving your Anti-Cheat System, You chose to ban Asian players.
What you should have been doing is strengthening your anti-cheat system. Instead, your solution was to simply shut Asian players out of the game.
My streamer friends and I discovered this game during its playtesting phase. We were thrilled to find a game that didn't strictly limit how many people could play together, allowing more than 10 of us to jump in and have fun. We had an absolute blast.
When cheaters started becoming a serious problem on Asian servers, we chose to escape to servers in other regions.
Technically, we had to endure over 200 ping just to play the game. Our opponents would always have the advantage of being able to shoot before we could even react.
Mentally, we had to endure racism and discrimination against Asian players.
The pattern was always the same:
We legitimately kill another player → They check our ping and realize we're playing from Asia → They immediately start shouting "Chinese cheater" in public chat.
And it doesn't stop there. There are always people who refuse to verify anything and immediately assume we're cheating, throwing insults, profanity, and personal attacks at us.
Despite all of this, we still chose to keep playing your game.
We endured the terrible ping, the discrimination, and the constant accusations. We even had to defend Asian players against these stereotypes ourselves, rather than simply giving up on the game.
Personally, I have plenty of criticisms about this game.
Your unreasonable progression system, weapon and vehicle balancing, anti-cheat measures, and even the recently released Season 2.
But we understood that this was still a game in development. We were willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, make excuses for the problems, and believe that things would eventually improve.
What we never expected was that after investing roughly 300–500 hours into your game, we would be betrayed so harshly by a decision like this.
We stuck around through the cheating problems, the high latency, the racism, and the game's many flaws because we genuinely enjoyed what you had created.
And this is how you choose to treat us.
Maybe we missed something in your promotional video, "Reasons NOT to Buy Our Game."
Perhaps one of those reasons should have been:
"Asian players are not welcome."
