Tesla Semi rollout is a great watch and should be a nice contributor to Tesla
Automotive revenues and margins.
Once again Tesla engineers deliver what looks likely to be a category killer. Demand for this product will be off the charts. The efficiency of the drive train will yield a quick payback and massive operating cost advantage to its peers.
Was really impressed with how quickly the mega charger was able to charge the semi during the demo (went from 3% to 62% in ~ 30 minutes) and their plan to blanket the network with mega chargers will drive adoption. That alone removes one of the larger barriers to product adoption.
Solid improvements on motors, batteries, heat pump/indirect thermal system, steering and FSD capabilities eventually. Well presented and impressive roster of customers ready for delivery.
Really looking forward to seeing these on the road soon. Great job Tesla!!!

NEWS: Elon Musk says SpaceXAI will lead the AI race in about 6 months.
He noted SpaceXAI is only 3 years old, against 6 years for Anthropic and 10 for OpenAI.
Elon: "If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months."
He is also cautiously optimistic SpaceXAI will have a Fable or GPT-6 level model in 2 to 3 months.
Elon argued the hard part is hardware. SpaceXAI has shown it can bring massive compute online fast.

1. We will keep accelerating. Our AI efforts are only 3 years old, vs 6 and 10 years old for Anthropic and OpenAI. If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months.
2. Once you far exceed the caliber of intelligence needed for a class of tasks, additional intelligence is pointless. You don’t need (and it would be cruel to put) Newton-level intelligence in your toaster!
3. Hardware is hard. Bringing massive compute online rapidly is incredibly difficult. SpaceX has demonstrated exceptional ability in this regard and will only get better.
