Dang what a bad take. Marathon is where it is on its own merits. Cross was there day one I you can say there was a "community" because of him and his friends. When he switch, he wasnt streaming it that much either already. His comments prob had very little effect.
I will GLADLY hold it against him, he was one of the big reasons why Marathon had a bad name at launch + after, alongside people who dont/wont play screeching about one of the most unique games aesthetically. I don't care if Destiny isn't dead anymore, Marathon deserved better.
