I guess now's as good a time as any to do a face reveal. Anyway, here's me playing a medley of Christmas songs that I played earlier in the service (this was recorded after the service). Also, ignore my dad in the background.

Ron DeSantis kind of reminds me of John Fetterman. They're both unambigously members of their respective parties, but they are completely unafraid to call out when their party is doing something stupid, corrupt, or immoral.
Governor DeSantis calls out the GOP for endorsing accused child molester Mike Caruso. DeSantis says he removed Caruso from office when he saw the evidence against him and asks where is the moral clarity in today’s GOP. “Party is fine, but it's not the end-all be-all. And sometimes you just got to do the right thing. And I think the right thing in this position is not to be endorsing a candidate that is under those potential very serious charges. And, yes, criminally, the process is going to play out. And he does deserve the presumption of innocence there. But in the political context, to have been removed from office because there was sufficient evidence to do it, to me, that's enough to say no dice.”

I saw someone describe "Digger" as a film that reminds them of that person that laughs a little bit too long at their own joke. I genuinely can't think of a better description of the film.

Probably the most glaring issue with "Digger" is that the film argues that art is a natural populist space meant to put the elites in their place... but the issue being discussed in the film, climate change, is an Ivory Tower position, not a populist one.

I’m completely burned out on politics. I’ve never been less motivated to vote in my life. And this is entirely the fault of the current GOP.

Yes... questioning whether or not WWII was even justified in fighting outs you as a complete and total retard. That is easily the most justifiable war (from the Allied perspective) in probably the last few centuries.
It’s so strange that you can oppose WWl, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran or pretty much any war from this century or the last as a complete disaster that never should have been fought and it’s a complete safe position. In fact, it seems almost no one can even attempt to offer a rationale for any of them. But, it is radioactive to even question the wisdom of fighting the Second World War. On its face, that’s just weird.

I personally would not classify what happened to him as rape, but operating under the same logic that Jane Doe was raped, then yes... he also would be raped, only by her.
NEW: Cornell 7 frat brother Matthew Ingalls is accusing 'Jane Doe' of r*ping him, citing that he was too intoxicated to give consent. Ingalls reportedly told Cornell investigators that he was too intoxicated from alcohol and ketamine to give consent. "During Cornell’s investigation, [Ingalls] said he was too intoxicated to consent and suggested that Jane Doe actually assaulted him, according to school records..." ABC News reported. Ingalls reportedly told Doe on the phone that she told him that she was completely sober. "You did tell me you were sober, by the way. You did, you said you hadn’t been anywhere," he said, according to a recording. According to documents released by the Tompkins County DA's office, Ingalls, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs, fell asleep during the s*xual encounter. He was later woken up and rejoined.

Catholics are literally more liberal based on their voting patterns than evangelicals. You might want to sit this one out.
Sola Scriptura literally gave birth to what we now call liberalism and individualism. 🤦‍♀️

Cool. So is "Mein Kampf" considered a banned book? Also... are students BANNED from actually bringing their own copies of those books to school? Or what about books that aren't in public school libraries because their old and out of print? Or because they suck?
Replying to @deaninserra
“Banned” normally means not found in public school libraries

Both sides of the political aisle believing that any race that they don't win (that they feel they should've won) being the result of fraud or voting machines being manipulated is a recipe for disaster. It's like a stick of dynamite that's ready to go off at any time.
Mark Ruffalo warns Democrats about potential voting machine manipulation.x.com/WesternLensman/status/… He specifically pointed to Elon Musk, saying Democrats need to watch for what they "may not see coming." Ruffalo argued that election systems are vulnerable to cybersecurity threats, saying, "we know that these systems are vulnerable."

And the Boomers wonder why young people hate them so much.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 US boomers overwhelmingly support higher taxes on younger workers to maintain current Social Security benefits, poll shows.

I literally know someone who did in fact cry rape because she regretted sex.
Replying to @USATODAY
Nobody cries rape because they regret sex. This is abhorrent.

This is my opinion... set the federal standard to permanent standard time, but if a state has specific needs that would require daylight savings, just let them implement it themselves.
🚨Just in: Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton Doubles Down in opposing making Daylight Standard Time Permanent “No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter.”
