These comments about BC’s political situation are all spot on. The problem is they refer to the”conservative option” and in the world of political campaigning (marketing) it’s the squeaky wheel that gets noticed! Getting one’s name (the others vs. the
@bcndp) front and centre is the goal, because when people vote, too often, they typically vote the name left in one’s mind. We don’t vote for the facts, our minds vote more for the name that’s been repeated ad nauseum. That’s why Trump has done so well, b/c he gets his name in the news saying the most ignorant and irrelevant things. The left is largely still stuck in the world of Cartesian logic that says “the facts, only the facts”. So, go online and repost everything that has the
@bcndp and its candidates, and absolutely nothing that mentions any of the other parties. Don’t worry about the facts, just name the party and the candidates and anything positive about progressive values like good schools, more doctors,
#affordablehousing,
#transit, etc and never mention the other guy and let subconscious minds do the rest. Then sit back and watch it happen, Finally, keep it positive!

The conservatives are trying to pretend they are the stable, serious option, just days after they pushed out a second leader in less than a year. Given the membership in the party often veers toward culture war pushers (ie electing KLF), voters should be aware of the significant risk when it comes to the BC Conservatives.
