🚨 ATTENTION TRADERS If you trade prop firms and use RisePay, there is a very convincing phishing scam going around that you need to know about. Trader @apparentlytrder reportedly lost $13.2K after receiving an email asking him to redo his KYC. The email looked professional and landed in his normal inbox. He clicked the KYC link, which took him to a page that looked like RisePay and asked him to log in. The login didn't work. Around 10 minutes later, he noticed new wallet addresses had been added to his account followed by a $13.2K withdrawal to one of those wallets that he did not authorize. The scary part? A similar email had previously landed in spam and looked suspicious. This time, the phishing email looked much more legitimate. Do NOT click any KYC/re-verification link you receive by email. My morning started with a disturbing conversation with father of a Class 10 schoolgirl She had just revealed that for the past one week, a boy she met during online gaming and shared her number with, had been threatening her with acid attack over the phone if she didn't meet him Below is a picture of the boy with an illegal weapon that he had texted the girl to threaten her The father was highly stressed. He said he had traced the boy's family and asked his parents to control their son, but the latter had simply denied that he ever did such a thing The girl is Hindu while the boy is Muslim - adding to the tension We immediately took up the matter with @BhaiPreetSingh. Her father was a rich businessman. She eloped with huge sums of money and jewelery. Later police investigation revealed they travelled through Nellore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore. The father filed a habeas corpus petition after roughly three months of little progress. On 2 September 2026 the Andhra Pradesh High Court strongly criticised Guntur police, called the failure a “matter of shame,” questioned whether they had even determined if it was voluntary, kidnapping or trafficking, and directed the DGP to produce the girl. Police said they registered an FIR promptly and searched across three states, but the court was not satisfied. Police in AP are the laziest especially when Muslims are involved in a crime.
