At the @apiconflagos , I had the privilege of speaking as one of the speakers. One of the key points I emphasized was this: As blockchain builders, we shouldn’t build products that scare users away from Web3. 🌟A bad user experience looks like this: Connect wallet → Choose network → Pay gas fee → Approve transaction 🌟 A great user experience looks like this: Pay → Confirm → Done Three taps. No explanations needed. The technology should be invisible. For me, the future of Web3 is bringing the next billion users on-chain. That won’t happen by making blockchain more complicated for Web2 users. It will happen through better APIs, better infrastructure, and better user experiences. If you missed the conference, no worries, you can still access my slides. Just click the link and search for “Progress.” apiconf.net/2026slides Before you go, I’d love to hear your thoughts: What’s the biggest UX mistake you’ve seen in a Web3 product? #apilagosconf2026

For me, one of the biggest UX mistakes in Web3 is making users feel like they need to understand blockchain. Web3 will go mainstream when people don’t need to know they’re using blockchain. What’s yours?
