The Canadian Finance Minister says a defence investment bank is being considered to raise more money for defence spending, amid reports the UK is considering joining. “What we need to do is increase our industrial capacity”, François-Philippe Champagne said, speaking to Krishnan Guru-Murthy after “constructive” discussions with Chancellor John Healey in Number 11.
