There are very few chains (at least 5 off the top of my head) that are leading the frontier of crypto adoption.
Avalanche is one of them and are crushing their niche by far.
Working with Nation States/established TradFi Institutions, sports and general consumer brands is unprecedented. You probably won't see any other chain do what Avax is doing here
All this makes for a pretty solid ecosystem for any ambitious builder to try out new stuff that can scale vertically and I'm very keen myself.
I will say though, that majority of this traction is driven by very large Institutions but not nearly as much are retail ie. regular crypto chads looking to catch a runner, mint an NFT or spend tons of money to climb up a gaming leaderboard of an MMORPG doing millions in volume.
This is where I think a real difference can be made to make avalanche more "Consumer-retail facing". 🔺️
Hyundai is testing blockchain infrastructure to accelerate development and improve payment processing time. Hyundai Card’s stablecoin pilot on Avalanche saw transfer time reduced by over 96%.
Now the company is exploring how these faster transfers, even after banking hours, can reduce idle liquidity and make their working capital go further.
American Banker reports on the pilot.
