Quick update on the $100K @FundedNext account after completing the recorded verification session.48 hours later, they finally sent me the funded account. I took one trade, and the next day I received an email saying that my account had been limited to 1% risk per trade because of “one-sided betting.”I’m honestly not sure when or how they determined that I was one-sided betting. I passed Phase 1 with only one trade, passed Phase 2 with only one trade, and then took only one trade on the funded account as well. So this “one-sided betting” rule is kinda weird to me because I don’t really understand how they could identify a pattern from that.Anyway, I’m now limited to 1% risk per trade. I’m fine with it since the limitation only applies to the funded account, but the whole situation is still a little weird. @Flynnn_FN

Quick update with @FundedNext : I signed the agreement on August 13th, and today, August 18th, I just received an email saying that I need to complete a recorded verification session. It seems a little weird considering I’ve already received around $90K in total payouts from them, but yeah, let’s do it and see how it goes x)

And I’m still confused about why I received this CID flag for an account I traded on July 23rd that had already been passed and closed. The fact that it was flagged weeks later makes the whole situation even weirder. @Khldfx @avikkfp

Just passed a $100K account with @FundedNext on CFDs. I’ve already made around $90K in total payouts with them on the futures side, and now it’s time to give their CFD side a try. Let’s see if I end up getting hit with any random limitations or shady rules out of nowhere x) By the way, I got the “No Minimum Trading Days” add-on, which is why I was able to pass both phases on the same day.

If there’s one thing that’s really shitty in the prop firm industry, it’s the 1% risk limitation. I agree that for someone who’s just starting their trading journey, it can be a good thing because it prevents them from over-risking and overtrading. But once you’re consistently profitable, this rule is just trash, especially when slippage can make you violate the limit even when you’re only risking 0.5%. What makes even less sense is when a prop firm gives you a 5% daily loss limit, but if you decide to risk 3% on one trade to pass the challenge, suddenly you’re considered a gambler lol. Then what’s the point of having a daily loss limit in the first place? I guess from now on I’ll just stick to @breakoutprop since they’re one of the few firms that keep the rules simple and clear: here’s your daily loss, here’s your maximum drawdown, and within those limits, do whatever the fuck you want x)
