very stoked to be joined by the chads at @zerodev to help us scale Ethereum our contributions to Ethereum now include innovation & R&D in app layer UX, alongside years of non-stop shipping in the L2 space (@arbitrum) & on L1 (@prylabs) the ticker will always be $ETH
We've acquired @zerodev! One of the most talented teams in crypto building next-gen smart accounts. This reinforces our commitment to solving the hardest onchain problems and building a unified development platform for all teams, regardless of their mandate. 🧵

meme<>stock pairing is only the beginning of what will be possible on on Robinhood chain as Stock Tokens continue to evolve and become more ubiquitous in the future of finance and DeFi buckle up - the @arbitrum platform is going places
With Stock Tokens TVL reaching over $170M and nearly $50B in DEX volume on the Robinhood Chain, we are getting more questions about what they are and how they work. All Robinhood Stock Tokens are backed 1:1 with real shares in secure custody. And Stock Tokens receive the economic equivalent of dividends and corporate actions returns reinvested into their holdings. In other words, when a new Stock Token is minted, we buy a real share of the company at the same time. What about in-kind redemption and voting rights? Not yet, but they’re coming. Step one is to scale adoption of Stock Tokens. We’re actively working on redemptions for shares 1:1 with voting for eligible Stock Token holders on the roadmap. We know how to do this well: we run a shareholder engagement platform, Say by Robinhood, which allows shareholders to participate in actions like voting. What about the technology? We built Stock Tokens to be composable, which allows developers to build new innovative offerings like we have seen the past few weeks, with many that we have yet to discover. What am I the most excited about? Billions of people in the world don't have access to U.S. investment assets. With Stock Tokens, that era is ending. Any eligible customer with a phone and an internet connection can now get exposure to the most exciting market in the world.

I feel like if you’re going to compare spreads, you should actually have good ones first before posting about it on X

No downtime was experienced. What’s the concern?
Robinhood Chain experienced no downtime. Earlier today, Robinhood Chain experienced batch posting delays due to L1 market blob behavior. Direct user transactions experienced no delays. Some infrastructure providers that rely on Robinhood Chain’s data stream experienced a brief performance impact due to a high number of feed subscribers. Robinhood Chain remains operational.

Piranha Capital might be one of the most ambitious projects launched on Robinhood. The thesis is simple: There are companies listed on Nasdaq right now with verified market caps under $1M. Real listings, real SEC filings, real tickers. Almost nobody sees them, because screeners get micro-cap numbers wrong constantly. So we rebuilt every market cap from scratch: last price × SEC-filed share count. $PIRANHA turns that research into a machine: - Every trade pays a fee - Fees feed the pool - The pool buys the smallest verified company on Nasdaq, then the next - Every fill is receipted, with the brokerage confirmation linked - The treasury wallet is public, the balance is readable on-chain by anyone - Just a transparent treasury eating its way up the Nasdaq ladder, one bite at a time. 32 companies sit in the feeding queue today. The smallest has a verified cap under $100K. Yes, on Nasdaq. Watch the pool feed: piranha.capital

Builders working with Arbitrum state proofs: your input is needed💡 There's an ongoing discussion about the Merkle-Patricia Trie (MPT) vs. a new verifiable data structure change that could affect teams consuming or verifying account and storage proofs If this affects your infrastructure, now is the time to share your implementation constraints Join the RFC discussion ↓

Amazing work by the team over at @EntropyAdvisors and especially by @benseddikmo!
We simulated the activation of multi-gas Dynamic Pricing on @arbitrum's upcoming Arbos61 update at today’s 0.02 gwei floor. Should L2s prioritize low transaction fees or token holder revenue? We worked with @Offchain to weigh the tradeoffs. Results: Higher chain gas capacity, but lower modeled L2 fee revenue.

(1/2) i tried out @arcus_xyz perps on @RobinhoodApp chain over the weekend, quick feedback/insights (and referral code at the end): what i liked: - one click trades: no gas, no approvals - clean - the response time in the UI is super fast: i like the rapidly changing mark price and PnLs - the notifications up at the top is a nice addition, gives me extra confidence/reassurance that the thing i did went thru - enjoy the chain abstracted deposits: i can get USDG into the app from most assets and networks, clean! I believe this mimics a feature called Smart Routing Address, originally pioneered by @zerodev! - really like the portfolio and rewards tabs (though i think they could be combined to make it cleaner) try out the beta version of @arcus_xyz perps with my referral: app.arcus.xyz/ref/DEREKL

(2/2) what i think could improve: - I find the "free collateral" concept confusing, maybe this is a skill issue though on my part: i just want to toggle how much of my deposited capital i will be using to open the trade, what does "free" mean? - i want to see the fee that im paying to open/close my open positions (bottom). variational and gtrade have this! The fee is shown when you originally open a net new position - i dislike needing to deposit funds - there's a reason i am trading in a non-custodial wallet! If i wanted to trade perps with a custodial wallet, i would use something else! - I'm not the target user for the "discover" tab because there's a big search bar already on the perps tab that shows me the same info - I don't like the "slider" used to change the size of the position. I originally assumed that the slider was for the leverage (other perps platforms do this). Just let me enter the % alongside a "max" button - I want to see the swap provider and route that is being used when i deposit ETH to USDG into the app. I want the ability to choose the route and toggle slippage because an auto 0.5% slippage tolerance is nuts for blue chip swaps - a block explorer tab feels odd, why do i need this? It probably makes more sense to link out to individual onchain actions, like deposits/withdrawals rather than a generic block explorer link. - when opening Arcus from a new browser/tab, it flashes the "sign up for early access, join waitlist" screen and then it logs me in (assuming i previously logged in and it was cached). I would rather see a "loading" screen or "checking if you have an account" screen. not financial advise, opinions are my own and im just a hobbyist perps trader

Over the past year, Offchain has worked closely with Robinhood to help bring their onchain strategy to production. That work started with supporting Stock Tokens on Arbitrum One and has now progressed to Robinhood launching its own dedicated blockchain on the Arbitrum Platform. This is exactly why we built Offchain Enterprise Services: to help ambitious fintechs and institutions design, launch, and scale production-grade blockchain infrastructure. Robinhood was our first Enterprise Services partner, and yesterday’s launch is a major proof point for what this offering is designed to enable. Arbitrum acts as the platform. Offchain brings the deep protocol expertise, infrastructure support, and execution experience to help partners move from ambition to production. Blockchain will power the future of the financial system. Our mandate at Offchain is to build the infrastructure that makes that future real.

very proud of my teammates and our partners for all the hard work behind the scenes to reach this milestone with @RobinhoodApp and their L2 launch, built on the @arbitrum platform. The next chapter of DeFi is exciting and its only the just the beginning.
Robinhood Chain mainnet is live. Fast, secure, AI-native, and purpose-built for real-world assets from day one. nitter.net/i/broadcasts/1YxNrrAME…

We're now Offchain. A new chapter focused on powering institutions as they move onchain. What we’ve built across @arbitrum, @prylabs and @zerodev is coming together into something bigger. This is just the first step. Stay tuned. offchain.io/
