As we said earlier, our neighbours were safe for not even a day.
The @Shaw_Centre head of security came and gave our friends 15 minutes to leave the sidewalk. They claimed the sidewalk belongs to them, not the city.
Our friends are packing their stuff again to move.
We are still here with our neighbours!
The @OttawaPolice didn’t come back and our friends are safe…for now 😔
How can these cops continue causing so much distress & harm, arbitrarily.
Our friends’ peace of mind cannot depend on cops’ whims.
They already have enough problems!
