Politics are about ideologies. The minute you conflate politics with identity you lose all grounds for productive discussion and debate. Ideas should be judged on the merits of their facts/arguments not on the merits of the person presenting them.

- Lights illuminating the dock at night
Then zoom out and see the entire island. Never dipping below 60 FPS at 1440p resolution.
Yes, there's a few bugs and visual artifacts, some textures need improving, the shorelines waves sometimes look funny, but these are so trivial to fix at this point.
FYI I'm on the $200 subscription plan. This used 59% of my weekly usage and took 2h 7h of API time using multiple subagents, about 8h in real-time.
There was extremely little technical direction here. 99% of my prompts were "Add X and Y" or "This looks weird, make it better".
It's a great time for hobbyists, bad time for professionals. This experiment has further cemented my view that technical creatives are about to experience a massive disruption.

As it stands, I don't think I'll be renewing SuperGrok Heavy… I'll honestly miss Cursor Ultra, but even at $200/mo I can't justify it, and even at $300/mo I can't justify it bundled with SuperGrok Heavy…
From my experience orchestrating Grok 4.6 implementation agents with GPT 6 Astra and reviewing their output with Fable 5.1, I realized just how much Grok required a ton of fix-review loops, which made implementation slow and actually not very token efficient…
I'll likely get a second ChatGPT Pro (hopefully 20x) sub and keep hoping Anthropic wakes up and allows me to use Claude Max with third-party harnesses (like Amp, Pi, etc…)
PS: from limited usage and overall sentiment around X, Grok 4.7 seems to be a step back from 4.6, at most a step sideways… 🫣
PPS: I feel bad for the Cursor folks right now…

This is the way. Accept code on merit and ensure that a person takes accountability for it. Doesn’t matter if it was typed, chiseled, generated, or bit-flipped via magnetized needle on a chip.
If it’s good, it’s good. If it’s slop, it’s slop.

Making a functioning prototype is intoxicating. And now, anyone can do it. The trap is mistaking our astonishment at what we were able to make for evidence that what we made is good.
We need to be able to throw away and redraw prototypes as quickly as we erase whiteboards, and with the same level of detachment. We must guard against whole teams getting distracted by searching for merit in bad protos just because their makers (often oneself, btw) are dazzled by the magic of what AI can produce.
“Slop grenade” is such a useful term to name this phenomenon.
Lazy work used to mean too little output.
Now, with AI, it often means too much and more work for everyone else.
@tobi call it "slop grenades."
A "Slop Grenade" is when you let AI produce the work and pass it on without adding any value (including checking it).
Someone else has to wade through it, catch the mistakes, and clean up the mess.
You save time and look productive but someone else pays for it.
