Is this the Republican's plan to win in the midterms?
I fucking KNEW it!! "President Pedo signed an executive order in March that would decertify every voting machine in the country. Most people didn’t notice. But last week, the Brennan Center for Justice sounded the alarm with a damning report. The Republicans have a comprehensive plan to rig the 2026 election. This plan includes officially replacing all voting machines with new ones approved solely by Trump. 1. “You Don’t Have To Vote Again” Dost thou remember during the 2024 campaign when Candidate Pedo told a bunch of Christians: "In four years, you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good, you're not gonna have to vote." Now we know wtf he was talking about. As the Brennan Report confirms, Trump’s order gives him the power to: Force states to re-certify all voting machines Replace them with machines that meet new “federal” standards Take control of voter rolls through the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Intimidate election officials into compliance Right now, only one voting system meets Trump’s new standard. Which is convenient for Donald and the Republicans, because now all the rest must be replaced. Replacing them will cost states billions. And who will be providing those new machines? IVANKA? They know they can’t win on their own, not after everything they’ve done. GOD DAMNS HIM STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!" This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

NEW: Trump’s talks with Russia over ending the war in Ukraine have expanded to include a multibillion-dollar Lukoil deal that would benefit Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, according to a NYT report. The deal, which needs approval from both the U.S. government and Kremlin, would involve Lukoil’s oil fields, refineries and gas stations around the world. The group seeking it includes Trump donor Todd Boehly, Middle Eastern groups that have done business with Kushner or Witkoff’s family, and even an arm of the U.S. government.

Notice the absence of the traditional olive branch? The olive branch symbolized America prioritizing peace with war as a last resort. It has been part of the Great Seal of the United States since 1782 and was part of the original seal of the Department of Defense.

Yesterday, I posted that there are so many things behaviorally wrong with Pete Hegseth, that I couldn't begin to list them all. It's hard to diagnose this guy from afar because he's such an ambitiously disingenuous persona but here are some observations: He is arrogant and ignorant - a Trumpian trait that's run amok. We just saw it in Eric Schmitt. His narrative never has any depth. He speaks in absolutes, as if what he claims is good and what he claims is right are not even complex subjects, or debates borne of any perspective. He fixates on American Exceptionalism but believes that it's only defined by musculature and pomposity. He couldn't care less for us being a shining example for others, or a force for a greater good. You never hear that from him. He couldn't care less for sharing - strategy or even that there IS a strategy - because he doesn't believe in being accountable. He doesn't present arguments. He doesn't share justifications. The only thing he cares less for than transparency, is humanity. His inhumanity is buttressed by his delusion that he is starring in a war movie, or a video game. This makes him come off as a caricature, and a toxic one. Because he can't shut the movie off and he can't disconnect the video game. That's why I used the word "delusion." He creates lasting disdain for America, both at home and on a global level, like few others ever have and make no mistake - this disdain will permeate for a generation. He is a religious fanatic, although he uses God as a prop and a punch line. Some of the clips from his speech yesterday were --- I'm at a loss to describe it. As a behaviorist, I can feel the things he's been accused of - like misogyny and xenophobia and the reckless sharing of info - and alcoholism - underlying his attitude and every utterance, and you can feel how unapologetic he is for any of it. And speaking of alcoholism, he is drunk on power, and when you combine that with lack of accountability and religious zeal, you have a most dangerous convergence, which has led him to butt heads with our best, and unashamedly gut our military leadership. He is a brazen politician serving an audience of one. He is a Made for TV concoction, and a vacuous mishmash of hormones and neurotransmitters. He would have already been impeached in the House from Massie's motion, but the House recessed. At a time when disgrace, danger, and disturbances are everywhere - the fact that this bigoted mock-macho maniac is running the US Defense Dept. is one of the most disgraceful, dangerous and disturbing things of all.

Why does Elon Musk keep showing up at the White House every time there are elections being held? Why is Trump suddenly handing him a position of unlimited profit with the "War Dept?" You don't need to be a genius to see what's going on.

Trump is the first president to call for America to be attacked. And his Republican allies said nothing. They don't care about you, or the country. Vote Democratic this November. The future of America depends on it.

The Sailors from the U.S.S Abraham Lincoln will return home on Wednesday to San Diego where I’m sure they will have plenty of stories to tell about the conditions on the ship & how they were treated since several tried to commit suicide. They were at sea for 280 days without a port call. Democrats better be there for their debriefing because Hegseth will silence them.

This whole thing with Thom Tillis and his book - “How to lose friends and antagonize presidents” - just rubs me so wrong. When it mattered, voting to confirm Trump’s unqualified cabinet, Tillis was nothing but a Trump sycophant, he was too afraid to do the right thing. Now that he’s leaving Congress, he’s trying to be some courageous truth teller? Bullshit.
