Diana carving out an interesting niche as an effective altruist who’s apparently indifferent to human suffering

Absolute mess, a series of words which are all related to the topic at hand but are not obviously arranged in any intentional manner. Hard to even say what it gets wrong because it's so incoherent throughout. Let's start with the bizarre definition of sentience:

There's just no argument presented. None of it makes any sense for even a second. I don't understand how anyone could read this and think to publish it. Isn't Nathan J Robinson smart? What's happening?

Hard to imagine that there's anything to be said about wokeness that could possibly be worth paying for, at this point.

Absolutely lethal observation from Aidan on Kantians: you can never trust a Kantian because you never know when they’re being sincere or just fiddling with their maxims.

The problem with rationalists simply cannot be that they aren't smart or thoughtful.
I simply do not think the posters of LessWrong are generally smart and thoughtful as compared to the rest of society, for what that's worth.

This from @jon_stewartmill hits the familiar substack beats - Soviets bad, GA Cohen, Hayek - but for some reason leaves out discussion of Nordic socialism. I take most of its points, but I don't think it's very compelling w/o treatment of the Nordics. desertphilosophy.substack.co…

I don't think this works as a rebuttal of market socialism. Presumably the average DSA member is not very interested in implementing the License Raj, but would endorse something closer to Nordic socialism.

This point is more interesting to me - maybe markets + public ownership can't actually satisfy socialists' stated goals. But seems implausable that converting the US economy to ultra-Nordic socialism would count as "little progress" on socialist terms.
