I wish people would be more normal about masking.
I wear one during air travel, at doctor’s offices, on public transportation and at crowded indoor events. Or if I’m sick and need to be out and about in public for some reason. It really doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing.

Thinking that going through grad school for philosophy, receiving the habitus it provides, and then finding yourself on the other end of it with no place in the academy is ~analogous to indigenous folks traditionally formed being thrust into the modern world and told to make do.
