The NYT is out with another hit piece on traditional families and marriage, this time weaponizing Bernadine Barber’s divorce and abuse to take aim at the tradwife movement.
But can we talk about what actually happened here?
Bernadine says she wasn’t even allowed to walk down her OWN GRAVEL DRIVEWAY without her husband’s permission.
Excuse me?!
And earlier this week we had viral videos of Pastor Brian Sauvé arguing that women shouldn’t be left “unsupervised” and that husbands need to “curate” what their wives see.
Women are not children, they’re your wives.
We desperately need more good men who take seriously their responsibility to love, protect and provide for their families. Not more manosphere nonsense that confuses being the head of a household with controlling every aspect of your wife’s life.
The lesson here isn’t that marriage, motherhood or homemaking are the problem.
It’s that the man you marry matters ENORMOUSLY.
We need more good husbands, not more controlling ones.
