2026 for me has meant fewer speaking sessions and less travel. I swapped that for therapy and some much-needed time at home.

1. A mentor
2. A critical friend

I thought I would just quickly record an online video for my students and edit it.
The video ended up being 18 minutes long, and editing took atleast 3 hours. Oops 🫣.

I went to a fantasy fair this weekend. Their event map was drawn by an actual illustrator, none of the sellers were selling AI-made products or art, and none of their promotional material was made with AI.
It was so nice.
